The Jayman Show

Jaiye here. Matthew Knowles is Beyoncé’s father and has a music school in Houston that I’m thinking of attending at some point.  I met Beyonce at Logan airport in 2000 and she was so nice to me.  Daphne Reid was on the Fresh Prince of Bel air as Aunt Vivian.  I met her and she was nice to me as well.  She has written books and is a wonderful actress.  I hope this interview will help so many people out there who have a lot of talent.  My show is basically about me interviewing established artists and actors so l can help other aspiring artists and actors achieve their dreams.  I feel there is a lot of talent that needs to be seen and heard and l like to showcase that talent on my show.

Confronting Injustice

In this episode, Linda talks about Black towns and communities across the US that were destroyed by racial violence when Black prosperity challenged racist beliefs. This episode covers many instances of the destruction of Black communities, including "Black Wall Street" in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the once prosperous Black community of Rosewood, Florida. Linda discusses the reasons why these stories are often not told in history classes, and the lessons that can be learned when we confront the difficult truths of the past.
