April 2026 - Glow Big or Go Frome

Daisy heads to Packsaddle Fields, where frustration is growing after access to the green space was blocked. She speaks to campaigners and local councillors about what the future might hold. She also joins Frome and East Somerset MP Anna Sabine on a rural safety walk in Beckington, highlighting the issue of violence against women and girls after dark and what can be done to help people feel safer. Sonia’s been set a very seasonal challenge, cooking wild garlic scones - with a little help from local author Eleanor Hayes. She also checks out The Moors, a dark comedy by Jen Silverman, exploring desire, desperation and life on the bleak English moors. We’re at the opening of the Kindness Festival, meeting the team behind a powerful community quilt remembering loved ones, and Daisy explores the magic of Window Wonderland, as Frome quite literally glows in the dark. Our Local Legend this month is Tori Allison, the force behind Window Wonderland and Chair of the Cheese and Grain. And as always, Becky rounds things off with her Fabulous Frome Forecast for April.

March 2026 - March-ing On

We explore the growing conversation around smartphone-free childhoods and what it might mean for families locally. Sonia steps onto the mat to try Brazilian jiu-jitsu for this month's Challenge Sonia. Our Local Legend, Rose Hiron-Grimes, shares why she's training for a marathon in support of We Hear You. We hear from Alison Murdoch about the return of the Kindness Festival, and Becky heads down to the Valentine's Lamp ceremony before bringing us her what's on guide to March. Big conversations, brave challenges and plenty of kindness - with a little bit of sunshine thrown in.

February 2026 - Frome is in the Air

January 2026 - New Year, New Gear

We go behind the scenes at Frome Symphony Orchestra’s magical performance of The Snowman, take baby Ren to meet Father Christmas, dance around town at Mrs Christmas’s Silent Disco, and catch up backstage at the Merlin Theatre for festive favourite, Crimes Against Christmas. Sonia chats to local girl band Planet Janet about making a joyful comeback and Daisy interviews this month's local legend, litter-picking hero Tracey Eames. We also speak to several mumtrepreneurs about how they've been cashing in on Christmas to help pay the bills through the festive season, and hear from James at Edventure about a new course aimed at turning business ideas into reality.
