About Wildly Well Mamas

This is a space for mindful mamas committed to living their best lives while raising kids to thrive. The ones setting boundaries, breaking generational patterns, making learning a lifestyle, and raising their kids with intention—even when it feels messy or misunderstood. I’m Jamie—a mama, wellness coach, and cancer survivor—here to share what I’m learning and have the conversations I wish more moms were having. In each episode, you’ll hear either a journal-style solo from me or a raw, inspiring interview with another mom on the wellness train. We’ll talk about supporting our bodies through movement, nourishment, rest, and rhythm; regulating our nervous systems, ditching diet culture, living cyclically, raising conscious kids, and coming home to ourselves—over and over again. No shame. No shoulds. Just stories, insights, and reminders that you’re not doing this alone. Because when moms feel grounded, inspired, and wildly well—everybody benefits. 🫶

Plants, Planets & the Path Back to Wholeness with Marija Hubbard

This week on the Wildly Well Mamas Podcast, I’m joined by Marija Hubbard — mother, clinical herbalist, artist, and Vedic astrologer — for a deeply grounding and expansive conversation about reconnecting with nature, ourselves, and the wisdom woven throughout both the Earth and the Cosmos. 🌿✨ Together, we explore herbalism as humanity’s original blueprint of medicine and discuss what it means to move beyond simply “using herbs” into truly building a relationship with plants. We also dive into the fascinating world of Vedic astrology — an ancient system that helps us better understand our karma, purpose, gifts, challenges, and the deeper rhythms of life. This conversation is an invitation to slow down, zoom out, and remember that healing and wisdom are not separate from us… they are woven into the natural world all around us. In this episode, we talk about: * Herbalism as ancestral medicine * Building relationships with plants * Herbs for motherhood, nervous system support, and daily wellness * The difference between Western and Vedic astrology * Karma, dharma, and understanding your life path * Birth charts as tools for self-awareness and empowerment * The connection between plants, planets, and personal healing 🪐 Connect with Marija: 📸 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/the.sanctum.apothecary/ [https://www.instagram.com/the.sanctum.apothecary/] 💛Website: https://sanctumstpete.com/services [https://sanctumstpete.com/services] 🌙 Connect with Me 📸 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wildlywellwithjamie/ [https://www.instagram.com/wildlywellwithjamie/] 💛 Explore coaching, resources, and upcoming offerings: https://www.wildlywellwithjamie.com/ [https://www.wildlywellwithjamie.com/] ⚠️ Disclaimer: Marija is a trained clinical herbalist and not a medical professional. Resistance Training for Moms: How to Build Strength, Support Longevity & Feel Good in Your Body (with AJ Wiggins)

In this episode, I’m sitting down with fitness professional and founder of AJ’s Personal Training here in St. Pete, AJ Wiggins, to talk about something that becomes more and more important as we age — resistance training. Because this isn’t just about building strength. It’s about supporting coordination, balance, endurance, power, agility, and metabolic efficiency — so we can move well, feel capable, and age gracefully. And yet, so many women have been taught to fear lifting weights, rely on cardio, or believe it’s simply too late to start. AJ brings over 15 years of experience working with women — especially in their 40s and beyond — and what I love about her approach is how supportive and sustainable it is. It’s not about doing more… it’s about building resilience in a way that actually fits your life. In this conversation, we explore: 1. Why resistance training matters so much in midlife 2. The truth about “getting bulky” 3. How it supports hormones, metabolism, and longevity 4. What actually helps women stay consistent This episode feels like both an invitation and a reminder — whether you’re just getting started, or you’ve been on this journey and want to reconnect with what matters. Resistance training is something you can build and keep building. And it has the power to support you in living a strong, capable, and fully present life. 💪 🏋🏽‍♀️ CONNECT WITH AJ: 💛 Website: https://www.ajspersonaltraining.com [https://www.ajspersonaltraining.com/] 🌿 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ajspersonaltraining [https://www.facebook.com/ajspersonaltraining] 📸 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ajspersonaltraining [https://www.instagram.com/ajspersonaltraining] 🌙 Connect with Me 💛 Join the Wildly Well Mamas [https://www.facebook.com/groups/wildlywellmamas] https://www.facebook.com/groups/wildlywellmamascommunity 🌿 Explore coaching, resources, and upcoming offerings: Wildly Well with Jamie [https://www.wildlywellwithjamie.com/] 📸 Instagram: Wildly Well with Jamie [https://www.instagram.com/wildlywellwithjamie/]

How to Start Using Herbs at Home: Natural Support for Stress, Sleep, Digestion, Focus, Mood & More (with Gray Dean)

In this episode of Wildly Well Mamas, I reconnect with herbalist and Ayurvedic practitioner Gray Dean to explore how herbalism can support modern motherhood in a grounded, practical way. In Part I, we explored Ayurveda and how understanding your unique constitution (dosha) can bring more compassion and clarity to the way you care for yourself and your family. Today, we build on that foundation and move into the world of herbalism—learning how simple, everyday herbs can support your nervous system, energy, hormones, and overall well-being. You’ll walk away from this episode with practical, approachable ways to begin using herbs in your daily life, along with a deeper understanding of how to work with plants in a way that feels intuitive, safe, and nourishing. This conversation helped me see herbalism in a whole new light—not as something complicated or intimidating, but as something deeply intuitive, nourishing, and accessible. I’m so grateful for all of the wellness tools we’re collecting and sharing through this podcast, and I truly hope they support you in feeling more grounded, empowered, and at home in your body. 🌿 In this episode, we explore: • How herbalism fits into modern motherhood • Herbal energetics (hot, cold, moist, dry) • Nourishing herbs for moms (like nettle & oat straw) • Simple remedies for sleep, stress, digestion, and immune support • How to start incorporating herbs into your daily rhythm • The importance of safety, especially during pregnancy • Building an intuitive relationship with plant medicine This is Part II of a two-part conversation. If you haven’t listened to Part I, be sure to start there for a foundation in Ayurveda and the doshas. 🙌 🌿 RESOURCES FROM THIS EPISODE Gray put together a beautiful handout covering the herbs we talked about in this episode—especially helpful if you're just beginning your herbalism journey.
