About WLDDfire

WLDDfire is a podcast about spreading good news! WLDD stands for Women's Leadership Development and Deployment. What you'll hear on our show each week will encourage, edify, and challenge you as a woman of faith. Our mission is to set the world on fire for Christ by catalyzing its women! So many of us have allowed our heart fires to diminish into flickers from what was once an inferno. My prayer is that with each episode, we will set little fires within each of you; and when they converge, they become a holy fire for Christ—thus WLDDfire is born.

The Mule's Rebellion

In this episode of The WLDDfire Podcast, host Michelle Malone and guest Tina Jones Gwynn discuss The Mule's Rebellion [https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/mules-tired-revolution-may-televised-tina-gwynn-cclc-phr-be67e/?trackingId=npztGbD8Sg6VIR0K8hQrAA%3D%3D], a movement aimed at helping women of color, particularly Black women, to release the burdens they have historically carried. Together, they explore the historical context of oppression, the impact of communication styles in the Black community, and the importance of self-care and unpacking emotional burdens. The conversation emphasizes the significance of encouraging children to pursue their dreams and the role of educators in nurturing giftedness. Ultimately, they highlight the hope and freedom found in Christ as essential for healing and growth.
