episode Episode 22: Different Gifts, Same Spirit cover

Description

This episode is about something God has been teaching me lately: We are not all the same. We have different gifts. Different strengths. Different capacities. Different perspectives. Different assignments. And that's okay. For a long time, I wanted people to think more like me, respond more like me, and handle things the way I would handle them. But God has been showing me that the Body of Christ works because we're different, not despite it. In this episode, I talk about what it means to appreciate those differences, stop comparing ourselves to others, stay teachable, and learn how each person brings something valuable to the body. Different gifts. Same Spirit. One God.

episode Episode 25: Shift Your Perspective artwork

Episode 25: Shift Your Perspective

In this episode, I share what God has been teaching me about gratitude, perspective, trust, community, and learning to focus on His faithfulness instead of my circumstances. Sometimes we become so focused on what isn't happening, what hasn't changed, or what we wish looked different that we miss the blessings God has already placed in front of us. In this conversation, I reflect on how shifting our perspective can change everything. We talk about trusting God's timing, finding joy in the middle of the process, letting go of worldly timelines, embracing authentic community, and remembering that slow progress is still progress. I also share personal reflections on how God has been teaching me to focus on His promises, His character, and His goodness rather than what I can see with my natural eyes. No matter what season you're in, I pray this episode encourages you to trust God, find gratitude in the present moment, and remember that He is still working, even when you can't see it. If this episode blesses you, share it with someone who may need the reminder that God is still faithful and that their story isn't over. Stay blessed. 🤍

Episode 24: Trust Him With Your Now

In this episode, I share a word God woke me up at 4 a.m. to write. We talk about obedience, consequences, waiting, free will, God's promises, and learning to trust Him even when we don't understand what He's doing. Through the stories of Joseph, Jonah, Abraham, Adam and Eve, and my own personal experiences, God reminded me that His instructions are not meant to hurt us. They are meant to protect us. Sometimes the things we go through are consequences of our own choices. Sometimes they are the result of other people's choices. But in both situations, God is still able to work everything together for our good. This episode is a reminder that God's Word will not fail, His promises still stand, and His timing can be trusted. If you're in a season of waiting, wrestling, grieving, learning, or simply trying to trust God with what you don't understand, this conversation is for you. Scriptures referenced include: Genesis 2–3 Genesis 22 Genesis 37, 39, and 50 Jonah 1–3 Jeremiah 29:11 John 3:17 Hebrews 12:2 James 4:7 1 Corinthians 10:13 Romans 8:28 Trust Him with your now. He already holds your later.

Episode 23: Two Things Can Be True At Once

This episode is about learning that two things can be true at once. You can trust God and still be hurting. You can have faith and still cry. You can know God is good and still admit that life feels heavy. You can be broken and still be used by God. In this episode, I talk about rest, emotions, grief, vulnerability, Sabbath, and the importance of not pretending to be okay when you’re not. God has been teaching me that having emotions is not a lack of faith. Jesus wept, and He still knew Lazarus would rise again. So if you’re in a season where you’re trying to hold it all together, I pray this reminds you that you don’t have to perform strength. You can be honest. You can feel deeply. You can cry. You can rest. And God can still meet you right there. Two things can be true at once 🤍

Episode 21: Learning To Surrender Joyfully

Lately, God has been teaching me what it truly means to surrender… not reluctantly, not out of obligation, but joyfully. In this episode, I talk about: • transition seasons • letting go of control • learning to use the tools God already gave me • community, prayer, and vulnerability • grieving old versions of yourself • allowing yourself to receive love and support • trusting God even when the process hurts • and learning that life really is better with Him I’ve been realizing that sometimes we ask God for change while resisting the very things He’s trying to use to change us. And honestly? This episode reminded me that I don’t have to carry everything alone. If you’re currently in a season of surrender, stretching, transition, healing, or rebuilding… I pray this episode encourages you. God is still good here too 🤍
