From Jesus to the 12 Apostles, the Church expanded and developed. The Church had fellowship, a rich word portraying shared life together. Tax collectors and zealots called by Christ to fellowship together. Today, the Church is to be the same place. A place where we can all come together and fellowship regardless of status, class, or occupation. Drawing on Acts 2:42, they show what the early Church looked like which can be informative for us today. Because the Church isn’t just another club to be a part of, it is the mystical body of Christ in this world where we are bound together by the Spirit.
