This week, Thomas and Colin watch the 2002 American psychological thriller film, Phone Booth. Thomas continues to crunch numbers, and bread tags. Colin crosses to the Dark Side. This week, Thomas and Colin watch the 2009 action film, Fast & Furious. Thomas swaps democracy sausages for Fish & Chips, and once again walks to earn it. Colin gets trapped in a MTB/Walker disputed territory. Colin apologises profusely for not registering The Deranged Cat Studio as a No-Fly Zone during the recording, and not pausing the recording as the Boeing 777-9 flew overhead during Thomas' reading of N₂Osferatu's (Hi, N₂Osferatu!) story. Fast & Furious is the first theatrical release to feature D-BOX motion! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D-Box_Technologies [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D-Box_Technologies] You can find us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/HiHelloProd [https://twitter.com/HiHelloProd%E2%81%A0] Or on Facebook: https://facebook.com/groups/203356711462052 [https://facebook.com/groups/203356711462052%E2%81%A0] We use My Movies to keep track of our DVD and Blu Ray collection, and highly recommend it: https://mymovies.dk/ [https://mymovies.dk/] Thomas very occasionally posts standalone movie-based audio to his podcast Uninhibited Meat Noises: https://anchor.fm/meatnoises [https://anchor.fm/meatnoises] [HI-CLF-0165]

This week, Thomas and Colin watch the 2025 Japanese action thriller film, Shinkansen Daibakuha, or Bullet Train Explosion. Thomas suffers catastrophic bipodal failure, but not before scoring himself a democracy sausage. He namedrops a heap of non-existent TV shows. Colin has a faceoff with a denizen of the deep. Or shallows. The titular Shibuya Scramble: https://worldcams.tv/japan/tokyo/shibuya-crossing [https://worldcams.tv/japan/tokyo/shibuya-crossing] Tokyo-based architecture professor Shane Flynn said Shibuya Crossing is "a great example of what Tokyo does best when it's not trying". This week, Thomas and Colin watch the 2020 American superhero film, The Old Guard. Thomas finishes two sets of Blueprints. Colin misremembers: The "Bad Guy" in the Famous Five was NOT a Harry Potter Alumni, but a Game of Thrones Alumni! He is also most apologetic for not formally greeting e of pi. An explainer of the Great Australian Democracy Sausage: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_sausage [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_sausage] You can find us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/HiHelloProd [https://twitter.com/HiHelloProd] Or on Facebook: https://facebook.com/groups/203356711462052 [https://facebook.com/groups/203356711462052] We use My Movies to keep track of our DVD and Blu Ray collection, and highly recommend it: https://mymovies.dk/ [https://mymovies.dk/] Thomas very occasionally posts standalone movie-based audio to his podcast Uninhibited Meat Noises: https://anchor.fm/meatnoises [https://anchor.fm/meatnoises] [HI-CLF-0163]

This week, Thomas and Colin watch the 1948 American neo-western film, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Colin gets a bit quirky. Thomas gets wrapped up in Blueprints and Explainers. He also completely misses what is arguably Australia's most recognised bird. The number 1.37:1 refers to the Academy ratio (not "Cinema Ratio", as Colin foolishly calls it), a standard aspect ratio for film that was widely used from the 1930s to the 1950s.
