Iodine is vital for the health of your thyroid, which impacts almost every part of your body. Unfortunately, iodine deficiency has become increasingly common due to depleted soils and chemicals in the water supply. Find out how to spot the early signs of iodine deficiency in this video. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] 0:00 Introduction: Iodine deficiency causes 1:09 Outer eyebrow thinning 1:22 Hair loss 1:36 Hoarseness 1:51 Enlarged tongue 2:05 Unexplained weight gain 2:30 High estrogen 3:30 Lowered IQ 6:00 Iodine function 6:34 Selenium and iodine 6:56 High iodine foods LINKS TO WATER FILTERS: https://www.amazon.com/Travel-Berkey-...https://www.amazon.com/ZeroWater-7-Cu...https://clearlyfiltered.com/products/... Iodine deficiency is becoming incredibly common because most people aren’t getting enough in their food, and chemicals like fluoride and chlorine in the water supply can deplete it. Vegans are at increased risk for iodine deficiency because they aren’t consuming iodine foods such as shellfish, dairy, eggs, and other seafood. Here are 7 strange iodine deficiency signs to look out for. 1. Outer eyebrow thinning If the outer third of your eyebrow is thinning, you could have an iodine deficiency. 2. Hair loss Iodine is vital in ensuring that you have adequate thyroid hormones to support your hair. 3. Hoarseness This may feel like a lump in your throat due to an enlarged thyroid. 4. Enlarged tongue Indentations on the outside of the tongue signify an enlarged tongue. 5. Unexplained weight gain When your thyroid doesn’t have enough iodine, it can slow your metabolism, leading to weight gain. 6. Increased estrogen Heavy periods, excessive cramping, headaches, and weight gain in the hips all signify increased estrogen. Testosterone may also decrease in both men and women if the thyroid isn’t functioning properly. 7. Lowered IQ Thyroid function affects many parts of the brain, including the portion responsible for making decisions, problem-solving, attention, focus, creativity, and memory. Iodine is vital for properly functioning thyroid hormones, which affect every part of the body. Thyroid hormones affect the ovaries and the testicles, regulate estrogen dominance, and help mood and cognitive function. Hypothyroidism is one of the most common health problems worldwide! Selenium is also essential for the thyroid, especially for conditions like Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism. Rather than waiting for iodine deficiency symptoms, add the following iodine-rich foods to your diet to help prevent a problem: •Sea kelp/seaweed •Shellfish •Fish from the ocean •Eggs •Dairy Get a high-quality water filter to eliminate chlorine and fluoride in your drinking water! Today, I want to cover the best food to support healing and repair: red meat. Not only does red meat have the most protein, but it also has some other amazing benefits. Other types of protein, like eggs and salmon, are beneficial—but red meat is the best to support healing. Of all the things needed for the repair or healing process, amino acids are among the most important. Red meat is more bioavailable and is a more concentrated source of amino acids than other types of protein. It also contains more iron, magnesium, zinc, B vitamins, vitamin K, and omega-3 fatty acids than eggs. This doesn’t include processed meat from factory farms. It’s crucial to get high-quality grass-fed, grass-finished red meat. Red meat also contains four important additional nutrients for healing, repair, and recovery: 1. Carnitine 2. Creatine 3. Carnosine 4. Coenzyme Q10 People who have difficulty digesting red meat typically have low stomach acid. Even if you don’t like the taste of red meat, it may be because you have low stomach acid. Betaine hydrochloride may be beneficial to help strengthen your stomach acid. You can try taking three to five betaine hydrochloride supplements before a meal for about one month. However, if you tend to have excess iron, red meat may not be for you. Instead, you could try consuming more poultry or eggs. Video on The EAT-Lancet Commission: ▶️ https://youtu.be/v8R0vInlGgk DATA: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35247225 0:00 Introduction: Are diseases nutritional deficiencies? 0:42 Top diseases that could be nutrient deficiencies 6:25 Recommended foods by the EAT-Lancet commission 9:10 Foods you really need to support your health 13:53 Learn more about nutritious foods! Let’s talk about the top diseases that could really be nutritional deficiencies. If you have a disease, doctors don't typically do much of a deep dive into vitamin or mineral deficiencies. They tend to focus more on medications and treatments instead of causes like deficiencies. A lack of certain nutrients, like vitamins A, D, E, and so many more, can lead to debilitating health conditions. These deficiencies can cause problems with essentially every part of the body. So, can we create health without nutrients? No, I don’t think so. With nutrients being so important for your health, it makes sense that a lack of nutrients would be involved in disease. Many recommended foods are more likely to create deficiencies and destroy your health rather than build your health. A lot of foods your body needs are also left out of recommended diets. Here are a few examples of foods that are often left out of the most commonly suggested diets but are essential to support a healthy body: • Egg yolks • Animal protein and animal products • Red meat • Seafood • Fatty fish • Organ meats Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 57, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. #1 Vitamin D THREAT You Absolutely Must Know!

Vitamin D is vital for your health, but is too much vitamin D dangerous? Find out about some of the negative vitamin D side effects and how to avoid them. Learn how to access potent vitamin D health benefits while minimizing vitamin D health risks. This protocol has been very successful in resolving autoimmune conditions, with some of his patients taking up to 200,000 IU of vitamin D daily! Vitamin D deficiency is not always easy to detect. Blood tests do not reflect what's going on deeper in your cells. Taking too much vitamin D can be dangerous if you have hypercalcemia, or too much calcium in the blood. This can lead to kidney stones. A lack of vitamin D is also dangerous! If you’re deficient in vitamin D, you are more susceptible to autoimmune diseases, which is currently the world’s largest health problem. Vitamin D is involved in over 2500 genes and is intimately involved in every part of your immune system. You need a maintenance dose of 8,000 to 10,000 IU of vitamin D daily for healthy immune function. Many people can not get adequate vitamin D from the sun or their food. Genetic factors can contribute to vitamin D resistance. Low magnesium, zinc, and vitamin K2 can also inhibit the absorption of vitamin D. Certain viruses downgrade vitamin D receptors, weakening your immune function. Our RDAs are also far too low. There are several ways to maximize vitamin D benefits while also preventing adverse vitamin D side effects. Take the cofactors magnesium, zinc, and vitamin K2 with vitamin D. Limit your calcium intake, especially when taking a high dose of vitamin D. You can also increase fluid intake to 2.5 liters per day to prevent kidney stones. The #1 Most Perilous Fat on Earth!

Harmful fats can be incredibly damaging to your health! Find out about the most dangerous fat to remove from your diet immediately and which healthy fats to replace it with. Ditch the unhealthy fats today! Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) [https://open.spotify.com/episode/4oKZ046rIAE3zwxDb06ZaO] Chapters: 0:00 Introduction: The worst fats for health 0:19 Unhealthy fats explained 0:53 Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats 2:02 What are hydrogenated fats? 3:11 Saturated fat 3:50 Side effects of unhealthy fats 8:57 The most dangerous fat 11:48 The benefits of healthy fat What are the unhealthiest types of fats? Let’s take a look. Saturated fats are very stable and don’t react much to oxygen because they don’t have double bonds. Fats with double bonds are more unstable and react more readily with oxygen, resulting in increased oxidation. Monounsaturated fats have one double bond, while polyunsaturated fats have many double bonds. More double bonds mean more oxidation. Avocado and olive oil are monounsaturated fats, so they’re moderately stable. Polyunsaturated fats, such as corn oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, soy oil, canola oil, and cottonseed oil, contain many double bonds, so they’re unstable and prone to significant oxidation. Hydrogenated oils are unsaturated fats that have been chemically turned into saturated fats. Saturated fats such as lard, tallow, and butter are solid at room temperature and are very stable. Although they are unsaturated fats, fish oil and cod liver oil have potent anti-inflammatory benefits and omega-3s, but can sometimes be rancid due to their instability. Be careful where you source them! Heat and light create toxic byproducts in unsaturated fats called aldehydes. These toxic compounds destroy your DNA, lodge in your cell membranes, and damage the insulin receptors on the surface of your cells. They can also make your cells stiff and fragile. For years, saturated fats have been demonized, and unsaturated fats have been recommended! This has also occurred with other foods, such as red meat and grains. Check out this comprehensive list, which ranges from the most harmful fats to the healthiest. Number 1 is the most dangerous! 1. Partially hydrogenated fat 2. Hydrogenated fat 3. Reused PUFA frying oil 4. Soy oil 5. Corn oil 6. Sunflower oil or safflower oil 7. Cottonseed oil 8. Canola oil 9. Grapeseed oil 10. Rice bran oil 11. Peanut oil 12. Refined avocado oil 13. Refined olive oil 14. Conventional lard 15. Conventional tallow 16. Coconut oil 17. Grass-fed butter 18. Cold-pressed avocado oil 19. Cold-pressed, extra-virgin olive oil Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 60, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Let’s talk about how to get rid of bloating fast. When it comes to a problem with the digestive system, the first thing you need to do is consider what you’re eating. You can try consuming fewer foods to help isolate what’s causing you to bloat the most. It’s important to consider what you ate just before you noticed you were bloated. This will give you a big clue as to what’s causing you to bloat. One of the best things to do for bloating is intermittent fasting. The more frequently you eat, the more bloating problems you’ll have. Gas produced by microbes in your gut can also cause bloating. Common foods to avoid to help with bloating: • Fruit • Beans • Grains • Refined sugars • Sugar alcohols • Starches • Maltodextrin or dextrin • Functional fibers • Prebiotics • Gluten • Lactose • Casein • Nuts or nut butter • Vegetables Other potential causes of bloating: • Stress • Constipation • Menstrual cramps Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting.
