Episode 10: What a milestone to round off the first season of the Fourth Floor Podcast. We began this week by discussing new music that had been released from the likes of Amine, Drake, Skepta, Shoreline Mafia and Octavian. We also talked on new shows that we have been watching, namely the new Netflix Most Wanted series and one particular episode on Samantha Lewthwaite, one of the world’s most infamous terror suspects. After our first break we discussed last week's A-level results based on algorithms that saw a general unfair disparity between private and state school grades (note, the government u-turn happened after the time of recording). We then explored wider questions of whether private schools should exist? To what extent do they consolidate class disparity and prevent social mobility? And whether people can be blamed for sending their children to private school? Following on, we criticised the policy that will see an end of free under-18 travel, and the detrimental impact that this may have on kids and their families. We finished the section with our thoughts about the mainstream news’ dystopian and dehumanising coverage of migrants at sea. Our final section discussed European football: Barcelona losing 8-2, Man City and Man Utd out of Europe, Bayern to win the champions league? Rb Leipzig to cause an upset. We finished on potential transfers to be done during the next couple of months. Tracklist: New London Rap Jesse James Soloman, Jaxxon D. Silva - Blood on the Floor Skepta, D Power Diesle - Sniper p-rallel, Louis Culture - Packed Bags

It’s been two weeks so it's only time for another Fourth Floor Podcast, and we have a lot to get through! In section one we discussed and debated all the drama in the world of music: 5’3 Tory Lanez shooting alleged girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion in the foot!!! We should condemn Wiley for his antisemetic actions, but is there a lack of consistency? Solo 45, former member of Boy Better Know, finally sentenced to 24 years in prison for multiple accounts of rape, torture and false imprisonment. We finish the section on a lighter note, exploring the Drake X Headie One freestyle, and new music from Disclosure, Octavian and Skepta. In Section 2, we discuss the BBC saying the N-word live on television, the unnamed Tory MP being investigated for rape, a Covid-19 second wave and a Tory MP blaming the BAME community for this spike in cases in the UK. We also explore Elon Musk’s tweets regarding the support for the US coup that ousted democratically elected Bolivian President Evo Morales. We discuss how this benefits Tesla due to Bolivia’s Lithium reserves, and how the Coup appears (no surprise) to be on false pretenses. In our final section, as ever, we talk football! We discuss Arsenal winning the mighty FA CUP, the upcoming West London Play Off Final between Fulham and Brentford, potential transfers for the summer, and Champions League predictions!

Make my first mil by 2021 and I'll change my name to B1llionz bro ! Is M1llionz the king of 2020? If not then whose year is it? We also discuss the new Unknown T album and new releases by Joey Bada$$, Rejjie Snow and Ghetts! We round up the section talking Digdat vs Bouncer. Fourth Floor is expanding baby! In section two we talk about upcoming projects, interviews and articles coming later this week. We also discuss the Uber employees suing their company for a lack of transparency with their algorithms and the implications of this for trade unions. We then explore Johhny Depp and Amber Heard suing eachother. Who do we believe? And what does this mean for the #MeToo [https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/metoo/] movement? We finish the section talking about the new startling Vice mini-documentary on life in Columbian prisons during the Coronavirus pandemic. Our final section is dedicated to football ! Arsenal beat Man City in the Fa Cup Semi Final: Is Arteta THE guy? Is De Gea finished? Have Leicester and Rodgers bottled it?

CALMYE? We debate Kanye West after his new banger Wash Us In The Blood: Is he back? Upcoming Dr Dre project! does he serve God or still see himself as God? And discuss his Presidential aspirations. We then criticise Virgil Abloh, talk POP SMOKE'S new album and discuss the morality behind releasing music on behalf of the dead.. In our second section we discuss Jada and Will Smith's alleged open relationship and debate Polygamy in general: Does it work? Could we do it? and how socially constructed is the quest for monogamy? We also touched on the arrest of Ghislaine Maxwell and the opening of pubs and restaurants in the UK. Our Final section is dedicated to Football! Man Utd flying, Tottenham falling and Arsenal not as shit as everyone thought?

Black Lives Matter. In the opening section we discussed all the social events that have occurred over the past couple weeks, including the continuous protests worldwide, and the revolutionary Bristolians. We briefly touched on our thoughts regarding statues being taken down and T*mmy R*binson's crew heading to central London. We also discussed Churchill's statue being vandalised, as well as touching on the atrocities that are happening in the US. We gave our thoughts on the horrific Yemeni Crisis and discussed the progress that is occurring as a result of the multiple petitions. BEETHOVEN IS A BLACK MUSLIM! This was great news for all three of us. Our next section was all about football and the return of the premier league in a huge week for English football as Arsenal got annihilated by Man City and we gave our predictions for the big game on Friday, as well as our predicted XI. To close we discussed new music and the innovative Pop Smoke.
