Descripción

In this episode of the Gadites USA Sophomore meeting, our Pastor emphasized the necessity of spiritual responsibility and diligence in our walk with God. He laid out the significance of the “Laying on of Hands” as a foundational doctrine, highlighting how it serves as a spiritual technology for the transfer of graces and the building up of the saints to walk in their divine purpose. We began by establishing that our profit in spiritual meetings is tied to our internal posture and responsibility. It was emphasized that we must repent of casual attitudes, such as lateness or lack of focus, to fully receive the life the Lord provides through His Word. We briefly revisited the doctrine of baptisms, noting that being born again is only the admission into “nursing school,” and that one must undergo consistent teaching to truly embody the life of a Christian. In addition, we saw that the “gifts of men” mentioned in Ephesians 4:8-11—Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers; are not merely offices but are the very hands of Christ given to the church. These gifts are men who were once captives themselves but were taken by Jesus to serve as conduits for spiritual blessings. Just as a hand has five fingers, the five-fold ministry acts as the fingers of Jesus to reach, touch, and build the body of Christ. Furthermore, we saw that the laying on of hands is a natural principle with a profound spiritual reality, used for the transfer of anointing, wisdom, and healing. It is also a means of identification and ordination, where spiritual authority recognizes and sends forth those called by God. We learned that the “present evil world” constantly attempts to lay its own hands on us through media and worldly influences, but the five-fold ministry is designed to deliver us from these pressures and anchor us in the power of the Gospel. Ultimately, the goal of this doctrine is to move us away from a “lone ranger” mentality and into a life of healthy submission to spiritual authority. By placing ourselves under the hands the Lord has provided, we receive the guidance and spiritual substance necessary to mature. This foundation prepares us for a deeper exploration of both vertical and horizontal submission, which are essential for our prosperity and growth in the realm of the Spirit.

(2026_07_11) - The Work of the Holy Ghost in the Life of a Believer - High School & Freshmen BM - Pastor Greatness Olaitan

In this episode of the High School & Freshmen Brethren Meeting, we examined the work of the Holy Ghost in the life of the believer. It was established that the Holy Ghost makes the spirit of man a new creature at new birth, initiating the work of preservation for man. However, the soul still has old things. Without gaining the right understanding, the soul of a believers is limited in how deeply they can relate to God. The baptism of the Holy Ghost, makes it easy for us to receive the understanding that would raise our soul to a point where it is new like our spirit. This baptism is distinct from water baptism, which involves the physical body. The baptism of the Holy Ghost involves Him coming upon the soul of the believer. The evidence of this experience is speaking in new tongues, which is the language of the new creature. Additionally, we saw that speaking in new tongues does not mean speaking the language of another country. Rather, it is a divinely-inspired utterance in an unknown language. Speaking in tongues remains vital because it builds a hunger within believers for a different way of thinking. If our thinking patterns do not change, our souls cannot be preserved.

(2026_07_08) - The Foundational Principles of How to Receive and use Faith - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In this episode, we examined the subject of faith. Without faith, it is impossible for a believer to please God (Hebrews 11:6). God cannot be blamed if a believer lacks faith because He has already provided the means by which faith can be obtained. Therefore, it is the believer's responsibility to seek out that means and develop faith. According to Romans 10:17, "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." For our requests to be answered by God, we must have faith. Even the new birth is received through faith (Ephesians 2:8). There is power in words. Faith comes as we are preached to and as we continually hear the Word of God. We cannot develop faith if we neglect hearing. Faith is not dormant; it can be perceived (Acts 14:9). It is often evident in the conversations of believers who have faith. Words and expressions such as "but," "what if," and "maybe" do not dominate their speech because their hope is firmly established on the Word of God. To walk in faith, we must believe in our hearts even when our physical senses suggest otherwise (2 Corinthians 5:7). Faith in the heart brings our hopes into the realm of reality. As believers, we should continually give ourselves to hearing the Word so that faith can be developed in our hearts. We must also learn to rest in God's Word regardless of what natural circumstances or physical evidence may suggest.
