Parliament’s portfolio committee on cooperative governance will hold a high-level meeting to examine National Treasury’s decision to withhold equitable share funding from 69 municipalities. Parliament’s ad hoc committee has found no evidence that Police Minister Senzo Mchunu engaged in criminal conduct, although it identified serious governance and integrity concerns.
