Descripción

Many Christians intellectually understand that God loves them, but struggle to trust that love in the deepest places of their hearts. Past wounds, disappointment, shame, and insecurity often create barriers that make God’s love feel conditional or distant. In this message, we learn that God’s love is not earned through performance, but rather received through faith. Jesus invites us to abide in Him, remain in His love, and trust what His Word says even when our feelings say otherwise. When we stop striving to prove ourselves worthy and simply rest in Christ, we begin to experience the fullness of His unfailing love. 1. “Abide in the Vine” (John 15:1–5) * Jesus is the true vine and we are the branches * Fruit is produced through connection, not striving * Abiding means remaining connected to Christ as our source 2. “Trust the Love You Already Have” (John 15:9) * Jesus loves us with the same love the Father has for Him * God’s love is not watered down or conditional * The invitation is to remain in His love without doubting it 3. “Bring Your Scared Amen” (1 John 4:16) * Trusting God’s love often requires vulnerability * Faith means saying yes to what God says even when it feels risky * The promise of God’s love is experienced when we trust it 4. “Stop Agreeing with the Accuser” (Romans 8:1; Revelation 12:10–11) * Shame and condemnation are not the voice of God * Jesus’ blood speaks a better word over our lives * We must stop partnering with lies that say we are unworthy 5. “God’s Love Is a Gift, Not a Reward” (1 John 4:9–10) * God loved us before we ever loved Him * His love is not earned through performance or perfection * Jesus makes us presentable before the Father 6. “Nothing Can Separate You From His Love” (Romans 8:35–39) * Circumstances cannot override God’s love * Failure does not cancel His faithfulness * His love remains constant through every season 7. “Receive Fresh Mercies Daily” (Lamentations 3:22–23) * God offers fresh mercy every morning * Abiding happens through daily dependence on Him * We experience His love most deeply when we intentionally seek Him

Summer of Psalms: Learning to Wait

Waiting on God is one of the hardest parts of following Him. We know His promises are true, but what do we do when the answer hasn’t come, the breakthrough hasn’t happened, and God seems silent? In this opening message of the Summer of Psalms series, we explore Psalm 27 and discover how David navigated seasons of uncertainty, fear, and delay. Rather than sitting passively, David teaches us how to wait actively. He remembers God's faithfulness, chooses worship over worry, seeks God's presence instead of quick solutions, and allows God to refine him in the process. Even while hiding in a cave and facing real danger, David learns that waiting is not wasted when it is spent with God. If you're in a season of unanswered prayers, delayed dreams, or uncertain circumstances, this message will encourage you to trust God's timing, remain faithful in the waiting, and believe that you will see the goodness of God in the land of the living.

Yes & Amen: When You Need to Know What's Next

We all reach moments where we desperately need direction: a major career decision, a life transition, a crossroads we can't navigate alone. In this closing message of the Yes and Amen series, Pastor David Martin walks through five promises God makes to every believer who is genuinely seeking His will. These aren't clever strategies or spiritual hacks; they're biblical anchors that have been tested in real life, through real uncertainty. Drawing from 2 Corinthians, Proverbs 3, John 16, Isaiah 40, and the life of Jesus Himself, this message is both practical and deeply personal. From learning to listen to the Holy Spirit, to the discipline of fasting, to trusting God's timing in the waiting; this is a word for anyone who has ever prayed and wondered if God was actually listening. If you've been sitting in uncertainty, frustrated by unanswered questions, or tempted to rush ahead of God, this message is for you. His will is not a puzzle to solve. It's a promise to receive.

Yes & Amen: The Power of One Yes

Everyone wants to know their purpose. Why am I here? What did God create me to do? In this practical and inspiring message, we discover that purpose is not something we stumble into by accident - it is something God lovingly reveals as we seek Him first and learn to trust Him. Through biblical examples and personal testimony, this sermon challenges the common misconceptions about purpose. God's calling is often different than we expect, bigger than we feel prepared for, and usually begins with small acts of obedience that seem insignificant at the time. If you've ever felt stuck, directionless, or uncertain about God's plan for your life, this message will encourage you to stop chasing purpose and start pursuing Jesus. As you give God your yes, He promises to guide your steps and reveal the path He has prepared for you.

Yes & Amen: You Have an Advocate

What do you do when life feels threatening, people are speaking against you, or guilt from your past keeps showing up? In this powerful message, we discover three incredible promises from God: He is our Protector, our Defender, and our Advocate. Through Christ, we can face every battle with confidence, knowing God is fighting for us. 1. “God Is Your Protector” (Psalm 18:1–3, 16–19) * God is our refuge, fortress, and place of safety * His protection is rooted in His love for His children * We can trust Him even when circumstances feel threatening 2. “Do Not Be Afraid, For I Am With You” (Isaiah 41:10–13) * God promises His presence in every season of trouble * He strengthens, helps, and upholds His people * The Lord personally fights for those who belong to Him 3. “God Is Always Ready To Help” (Psalm 46:1–2) * Trouble is a reality in a broken world * God remains present and available in every crisis * His promises become an anchor when life feels unstable 4. “Let God Be Your Defender” (Exodus 14:14) * We are tempted to defend ourselves when criticized or misunderstood * God calls us to trust Him instead of fighting every battle * The Lord Himself promises to fight on our behalf 5. “Blessed Are Those Who Are Persecuted” (Matthew 5:10–12) * Following Jesus will sometimes invite criticism and opposition * Integrity speaks louder than self-defense * God rewards faithfulness even when others misunderstand us 6. “No Weapon Formed Against You Will Prosper” (Isaiah 54:17) * God promises ultimate vindication for His servants * Accusations and attacks do not have the final word * The Lord is our source of justice and protection 7. “Jesus Is Your Advocate” (1 John 2:1) * Every believer has an advocate before the Father * Jesus stands in our place when we fail and fall short * Our hope is found in His righteousness, not our own 8. “The Cross Changed Everything” (2 Corinthians 5:21, Galatians 3:13) * Jesus took our sin and our punishment upon Himself * Through His sacrifice we are declared righteous before God * Grace is received through faith, not earned through works 9. “Victory Over The Accuser” (Revelation 12:10–11) * Satan accuses, but Jesus intercedes * The blood of Christ silences every accusation against God's children * Believers overcome through the finished work of Jesus 10. “Say Yes To The Advocate” (Romans 10:9–13) * Salvation is available to anyone who calls on Jesus * God offers forgiveness, adoption, and eternal life * Every promise of God finds its fulfillment in Christ
