REBOOT: How does grief affect going travelling? | 10

From the vault! To help you manage your grief this summer, we've rebooted this podcast episode about grief and travelling. Is it easier or harder to cope with grief away from home? 14 years after Grace’s dad died, she spent a whole summer abroad, which is the longest she’s ever been away from her mum. Nell went travelling just a few months after her sister died, and they both found that grief affected their travels in several ways. In this episode, they explore their different grief journeys but also find plenty of common ground. The conversation covers how hard it is being away from those who know and understand your grief, unexpected emotions, from anxiety to jealousy, and their realisation that being away from home doesn’t ‘fix’ your grief. Content warning: mentions mental health and death throughout. Please rate and subscribe to help us reach more grieving young people. This episode was recorded over Zoom.
