Christina Tran, a former Texan, now in Corvallis, Oregon.  She creates webcomics and zines that are both intensely personal and notably universal.  That duality extends to her house, a modular space for living, creating, and the occasional house show for local artists.  In this episode, Christina shares her approach to bravely pursuing artistic ideas, even when she doesn't have them entirely figured out.  It's an approach that percolates into how she lives her life in an anti-capitalist way. She’s behind such lewd and cute creations as the Bewb Pillow, Naughty Bits enamel pins, and Yakult Buddies stickers. You may know Tai Nguyen from the cover of the Austin Chronicle or from that time he rented out the 300 seat Stateside Theater to shoot his comedy special. Or maybe you’ve attended an open mic at the tiny stage he built in his living room. After he arrived from Vietnam at an early age, Tai's carved an unlikely path through the Austin comedy scene.  His edgy and outrageous brand of comedy begs the question: When does a joke go too far?
