Another powerful message from Praise Christian Centre Downtown May 2020 Archives.

Sunday 3rd May 2020

This message centres on exploring the power of one's will and the purpose of one's gift. The will of man is so powerful that it can stop God from working in a life. And the enemy knows that he cannot easily influence one whose will is submitted to God and works extra hard to crush the will until people become passive. But if we are to live a fruitful life, we must actively engage our will to serve our gift to those around us.

In this continuation to the Storm Stopper, Bishop Ignatius Mukwasa teaches on the Biblical truth of the believer's authority. While Jesus has been given all authority and power through His death and resurrection, He delegated this power and authority to His children who must exercise it. It is within the believers' right to take a position of faith, based on revelation and truth that they have been given keys to having a say in how things happen. You are the storm stopper in your situation!

There is narrative to life which dictates that it's if the storm will come or not but rather when it will come. Jesus taught us that both that man who built his life on the rock and the one who built on sand experienced the same storm. However, how they got through the storm was dependent on how well they had laid the foundation of the Word in their lives. This teaching explores the reality of the storms that we experience in this life and how the ultimate solution to each storm is the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives. It is Him who comes to stop the storms of life as He did when faced with one together with His disciples.
