Luke Chapter 21

Welcome back to Sunday Bible Study. Today, we are diving into Luke chapter 21, and it is a chapter that challenges us in two completely different ways. We start in the temple, where Jesus watches a poor widow drop two tiny, practically worthless coins into the collection box. While everyone else is impressed by the big checks and the large amounts, Jesus stops to show us that He doesn't count dollars—He counts sacrifice. From there, the conversation shifts to something heavy. Jesus begins to warn His disciples about the hard times ahead: fake leaders, wars, earthquakes, and the literal tearing down of the temple they were standing in. But this episode isn't meant to scare you; it’s meant to wake you up.
