In 1 Samuel 13, Saul’s impatience costs him everything. Instead of waiting for Samuel, he takes matters into his own hands and shows what happens when fear overrides faith. Don’t rush what God has promised. True obedience means trusting His timing, even when pressure mounts and answers feel delayed.

But when we don’t trust Him, we risk missing out on His promises and misrepresenting His goodness to the world. Let’s live lives that show peace is possible, because we know who holds tomorrow.

At first glance, it’s Saul’s first military victory. But look closer, this is a prophetic picture of Christ defeating the enemy, breaking the chains of bitterness, and leading His people into freedom. Don’t let unforgiveness take root. Follow the King who won the victory on the Cross and still leads us in triumph today.
