Slumdog Millionaire: Meet the Director and Actors

Acclaimed filmmaker Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, 28 Days Later) discusses the making of Slumdog Millionaire with his first-time lead actors of the film, Dev Patel and Freida Pinto. Already a winner for this year's People's Choice award at the Toronto Film Festval, the film has received critical acclaim for Danny, screenwriter Simon Beaufoy (The Full Monty) and the up-and-coming stars of the film. Slumdog Millionaire is the story of an impoverished Indian teen, Jamal Malik, and how he became a contestant on the Hindi version of Who Wants to be A Millionaire?  His endeavor is without prize money in mind; instead, it is an effort to prove his love for his friend Latika, who is an ardent fan of the show.
