Podcast de Soul Juices DJs

Kev D & Stampatron have been playing music across the festival, club & party scene since 1998, and with their shared interests in the nutritional power of juice, the natural progression was to come together as Soul Juices DJs in early 2014. "We produce, mix & remix an organic selection of forward thinking, positive music from dub & reggae, through to latin & world with dollops of electronica, funky breaks, bumps of house, techno & dnb for the late nights...."

Soul Juices Soundsystem Live

Full on journey through positive beats and juicy vibes....kicking off with words of wisdom from the bard McKenna we hit heavy dub from Kill Emil & step into ragga with Dubmatix & Tenor Fly. Reggae Revival with the Swing Heavy Ridded featuring Kabaka Pyramid, Jah Sun, Lutan Fyah, Delly Ranx & Lion D. Bossa nova is the order of the day with a cheeky Fatboy Slim booty before hitting some exquisite latin from Quantic. Staple tracks from our live sets come in the form of Chali 2Na and The Polish Ambassador before some quality UK Hip Hop from the Too Many T's boys. Straight into classic Freestylers and I Told You So. The excellent Tom Drummond mix of 'Weapon of Choice provides a nice segue into some funked up hip-hop and a ghetto remix of NWA. Classic toots is given the ghetto treatment before whipping into some Bamboos and the great DJ Vadim who also get the funky remix treatment. Tito Puente and Quantic keep the latin flavour alive before we step into deeper territories with Mike Steav and the superb genius of Time. Tribal Caribbean rhythms in the shape of Finder - Ninetoes complete the fun before we drop into some basslines with Titeknots remix of Love Like This and the classic Bashmore anthem Battle For Middle You. Cropper and Maximono reprint for Bristol before we hit the great breaks revival! Pirate Jams, DJ Hero and Bomba Rosa kicking it with the rolling vibes while a 2-et from Beat Assassins reminds us of the best of breakbeat. Krill Iva's beautiful re-edit of Celestial by Fomao takes us nicely into some Stanton Warriors before Elite force finishes the job with the epic RVMPD take of Chemical brother & Mlies Dyson. itunes pic [https://assets.podomatic.net/ts/17/a8/12/stampatron/3000x3000_9892257.jpg] Pinch, punch, first of the month! Fresh outta the studio we are proud to present podcast 002. Kicking off with some future sounds courtesy of Om Unit & a tasty Ivy Lab bootleg we drop into the luscious Romare followed by classic Blackalicious. Ramping up the tempo with Mr Benn’s funky remix of the very talented Smerin’s Anti-Social Club we then slip in some glitch-hop from Koan Sound and a beautiful horn led number from one of our favourite producers, the inimitable Bonobo. Intermission comes in the shape of an ethereal remix of Coldcut’s classic, “Autumn Leaves” before picking up the pace with Lxury, the divine “Mango” by Sascha Funke and a sweet beat courtesy of Aufgang. Bouncing up next we have bass driven house by Dusky and another Soul Juices favourite, Alex Banks (formerly known as Banks) with the tech-laden “Phosphorus”, leading into bass for your face from Spoils and the naughty “Yum Yum” by Eats Everything. Next up we give a nod to the old skool with “Got To Be Good” before dance floor slayers from Foamo & the garage inspired “Selecta” by Benny Kane. Breaks plays a big part in our live sets and irony is never lost on us hence the inclusion of “Where’s The Beef?” by the ‘Warriors (we are both vegetarian….). Steppin up the pace to finish we have drops from Phon.o, Marcus Intalex & the amazing “Sheya”, again by Alex Banks. Thanks to all our followers & friends for the continued support, please share & repost if you are digging the soul Juices sounds :) Increase the peace x Podcast 002 : September - Soul Juices DJs Ether - Om Unit Worries In The Dance (Ivy Lab 2020 Bootleg) - New Blood Reverse Logic - Om Unit Down The Line - Romare Shallow Days - Blackalicious The Alibi (Mr Benn remix) - Smerin’s Anti-Social Club Infinite Funk - Koan Sound Transmission 94 (Part 1) - Bonobo Autumn Leaves (Irresistable Force Mix Trip) - Coldcut Permanent Power - Lxury Mango - Sascha Funke Sonar (Spitzer Remix) - Aufgang Love Taking Over - Dusky Phosphorus - Alex Banks Bad Things - Spoils Yum Yum - Eats Everything Got To Be Good - Peter Gelderblom & Randy Cole Release Me (Iva Re-Twist) - Foamo Selecta - Benny Kane Where’s the Beef - Stanton Warriors Kellerkind - Phon.o Debbit - Marcus Intalex Sheya - Alex Banks
