Descripción

Our behavior is controlled by our conscious and unconscious mind. When we can't seem to get ourselves to do what we want to do, it's because subconscious thoughts are stopping us. The solution is to move the thoughts from the subconscious to the conscious. Once the thought is in our conscious mind, we can choose to act on it or not. As long as it's in the subconcious mind, we don't have a choice to act on it or not. There are a number of ways to move the thought from the subconscious to the conscious. One is to listen closely to the thoughts in our mind. For me, I've had the thought that it's not safe for me to be myself despite the fact that being myself is the only thing that works. Since I've moved that thought into my conscious, I can choose not to act on it. You can do the same. I offer thought coaching to help you move thoughts from the unconscious to the conscious and bring a level of consciious choice to your life you didn't have before. Portada del episodio How to be an inspiring leader

How to be an inspiring leader

Example is the most powerful form of leadership. When we share our story of how we risen to the occasion when faced with big challenges in our life, it inspires others to do the same. We need to share our stories in a fashion that the people listening to the story can relate to. They need to see themselves in our story. We need to see the similiarities those we wish lead and inspire have with our stories. For example. It took me 20 years of wanting to write and publish a book befoe I did it. To accomplish that I had to acknowledge the thoughts that I didn't have anything of value to share; that it was a fools errand; that no one was interested in what I had to say. Only after acknowledging those thoughts was I able to look at them and ask if those thoughts were true. On inspection, I realized those thoughts were false. There is value and truth in accepting that we create our world with our thoughts. There is value and truth in accepting that all the love, joy, wisdom, peace and strength that exists exists within each of us waiting for us to relate to it and claim it. There is value and truth in accepting the fact that our mind is immensly more powerful than we've given it credit, and we can consciously tap into that power more and more. Only by accepting my negative thoughts and inspecting them have I been able to claim more and more of the power and wisdom that exists within me and you. I offer thought coaching to help move thoughts from the unconscious to the conscious and claim the freedom to choose which thoughts to act on. Portada del episodio How acceptance creates trust

How acceptance creates trust

When we are accepting of our thoughts and the feelings those thoughts create, we find ourselves more open to share what we're thinking and feeling. That openness that comes with greater self acceptance inspires others to respond in kind. I've found through the years, the more open I am with others, the more open they are with me. When I exude acceptance, people feel safe and supported in trusting me enough to open up. Part of the acceptance that creates trust is empathy. We all can reflect back on times when we feel "heard", when we feel "you get me". We love and trust people we feel listen deeply to us and respond with empathy and kindness. Everyone wants people in their life who they feel give them the support and acceptance of being safe to open up to. When I coach people, I am very open with my clients. This creates the trust that supports maximum value. How to deal with credit card debt

Pay off the highest interest debt first. That's dealing with the effect. To deal with the cause, employ the spiritual principle "the solution to every problem is to be more honest with ourself". Write down what you're spending money on every time you spend money. Continue spending on what brings you love, joy and upliftment. Stop spending everything else. Money is a tool to be used to enrich your life, not an end in itself. We need to deal with both the cause and effects in our life. Our thinking is always the cause. The more aware we are of our thinking, the more we are in control of the cause of everything in our life. That's why I offer thought coaching in which we focus on moving thoughts from the unconscious to the conscious. That way you have the freedom to choose which thoughts to act on and which to let go. to schedule a free introductory thought coaching session, reserve your time at https://calendly.com//scottfriedman40/30min [https://calendly.com//scottfriedman40/30min] My books are available on Amazon. Dealing with difficult emotions

Our emotions are created by our thoughts. Listening to the thoughts in our mind helps us identify the thoughts that are creating the difficult emotions. Once we identify the thought creating the emotion, we are in a position to ask if that thought is. true. Invariably, there are aspects of the thought that are not true. The more we accept the negative thought, the more space there is for accurate positive thoughts to come into our mind. If you're like me, the negative thoughts don't stop, they just lose power and frequency. The number of times the thought that I'm failing in life and should just give up has come up in my mind is too many to count. I accept the existence of that thought and quickly the thought comes up, "I'm going to see this through. I refuse to give up." Then examples of overcoming difficult times and obstacles from my past come to mind and I think, I've overcome seemingly insurmountable odds before, I can do it again. Don't deny the negative emotions. Allow them and the thoughts that create them to exist. Just inspect the thoughts for veracity and choose not to act on them. Denying and fighting against the negative thoughts only makes them stronger. Acceptance heals. Portada del episodio How to get unstuck

How to get unstuck

As long as we haven't given up, we're not truly stuck. The determinate in life is how much we believe in ourself. Every day we don't give up, we believe in ourself a little more. Eventually that belief grows to the point we see it reflected back to us by the outer world. I wrote a book entitled, "Believing in ourself, the master skill" that goes into this in detail. I could say that I'm stuck because I've sold less than 1000 books in more than 7 years. More accurately, I believe in the value I have to offer reflected in the fact that I'm close to finishing my 14th book. Each book I believe has value regardless of the size of the sales. We have control of our inner growth, our self mastery. We are never stuck as long as we are continually more honest and accepting of ourself and where we are at right now.
