Then, Heather Rule stops by to talk about the Minnesota Frost finally returning to Grand Casino Arena and the countdown to the Olympics. Steve and Lindsey get back on their soapbox about the proliferation of sports gambling. They discuss Brooks Koepka attempting to rejoin the PGA Tour after leaving the LIV tour. They wrap the show with some NFL Wildcard predictions.

Heather Rule is an award-winning freelance sports journalist who covers the Minnesota Frost and Minnesota Wild. Neither team has played at Grand Casino Arena this century but the Frost are finally back in their home locker room. Heather provides an update to the Frost’s injury report. Jess talks about a story he has coming up about how hosting the World Junior Championships went for the Twin Cities. They also touch on both Gopher hockey teams and Jess previews tonight’s matchup between the Wild and Islanders.

It’s time to make good with Steve Carney

Every Saturday at 4:07pm the meeting of the Steves commences. To kick off his weekly visit we give Steve his hall of fame flowers (a week late). Carney talks a bit about being honored and how his everyday life hasn’t changed much besides the speed despite his new celebrity status. Then it’s time for some Ice Fishing chatter. Carney shares his above ice adventures from the week. He also details how the presence of some fish species have changed due to root based plant growth in certain lakes.
