Jess Myers covers the Wild for the Pioneer Press. His hometown team (Warroad) won the Class A State Championship just a few hours ago and he missed seeing OT because he was on a plane to Denver. Jess feasts on the glory and the game that was. They talk about the Wild’s big win over the Vegas Golden Knights last night and Jess cites some bad blood from last playoffs that looms over their season series this season. Jess and Steve then break down Bill Guerin’s the trade deadline acquisitions and the warning he had for those coming to play in their hometown.
