We read in the Bible many promises made by God to reassure us in our faith. Words such as Jesus saying “…I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you.” in John 14 and “I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” in Matthew 28. Promises that cannot be broken because God has spoken them. Yet there are times in our lives when things happen and we look around and Jeus seems to have vanished. Has God broken His promises? Does Jesus ever desert us or are we looking at things in the wrong way? Together we will look at three examples where Jesus went ‘missing’ and see how close He really is.
