Descripción

May 3, 2026  Just as we’re called to judge the kind of fruit we see in the lives of others, we should also judge the kind of fruit we’re producing in our life. This becomes an indication of personal growth. It’s easy to tell which trees are flourishing and which are struggling by looking at the fruit they’re able to bear. In our walk with God, we need to learn to pay attention to the kind of fruit we’re producing in our life. We need God to step in and direct our hearts on what is good fruit and what is bad. Scriptures we dive into today:  Luke 6:43-45 [https://www.bible.com/bible/59/LUK.6.43-45.ESV], Hebrews 6:1-2 [https://www.bible.com/bible/59/HEB.6.1-2.ESV], John 13:34-35 [https://www.bible.com/bible/59/JHN.13.34-35.ESV] Thanks for listening! Sunday School | Noah and the Flood

June 7, 2026  We’re starting a new series called, Sunday School. The goal of this series is to learn new applications from these familiar stories. In studying Scripture, it’s important to understand that the truth of Scripture remains the same but the way we apply that truth is different depending on what we’re going through. Our Sunday School story for this morning is the Flood. Scriptures we dive into today: Genesis 6 [https://www.bible.com/bible/59/GEN.6.ESV], Matthew 24:36-39 [https://www.bible.com/bible/59/MAT.24.36-39.ESV], Genesis 7:1-4 [https://www.bible.com/bible/59/GEN.7.1-4.ESV] Thanks for listening! Here Are Your Idols | Success

May 31, 2026  Is it bad for us to desire success? Success is not a bad thing. Being successful is a way for the believer to glorify God because your success is a sign that you’re good at what you do! In fact, Scripture says we should work heartily for the Lord no matter who we’re working for. Our successes become a vehicle for us to glorify God. Success becomes problematic for the believer when we start to find our identity and our value in our successes. Scriptures we dive into today: Deuteronomy 8:17-20 [https://www.bible.com/bible/59/DEU.8.17-20.ESV], Colossians 3:23-24 [https://www.bible.com/bible/59/COL.3.23-24.ESV], Revelation 3:14-22 [https://www.bible.com/bible/59/REV.3.14-22.ESV] Thanks for listening! Here Are Your Idols | Control

May 24, 2026  From the perspective of the control freak, we look at control as a way of having peace of mind – we’re just trying to reduce the chaos in our life. However, our need for control runs much deeper than having peace of mind; our need for control is really about authority. We want to be in charge of the outcomes, we want to dictate the terms of our situation, and we want to ultimately decide what we will do with our time. This kind of control is an attempt to keep our faith safe and comfortable. Scriptures we dive into today: Matthew 19:21-22 [https://www.bible.com/bible/59/MAT.19.21-22.ESV], Proverbs 16:9 [https://www.bible.com/bible/59/PRO.16.9.ESV], Matthew 11:28-29 [https://www.bible.com/bible/59/MAT.11.28-29.ESV] Thanks for listening!
