Welcome back to Off Track, the space where I speak unscripted, unfiltered and straight from the heart. No guests, no scripts, just honest reflections shaped by real conversations and real life.   This week’s episode was inspired by my conversation with Hala Kazim and three ideas that stayed with me long after the cameras stopped rolling. Ideas around identity, relationships and uncertainty. Three things that, in my experience, shape far more of our lives than we realise.   1️⃣ Everyone You Love Should Be Part Of Your Life, Not Your Entire Life   When we get married and have children, many of us make them our whole life. I'm not here to say whether that's right or wrong. But I do believe the example we should set is one of self-awareness and self-respect. Be good to people, love people and support people, but don't lose yourself inside them. The healthiest relationships aren't two people becoming one. They're two complete people choosing to walk through life together.   2️⃣ Relationships Are The Ultimate Human Advantage   The more AI grows, the more valuable human relationships become. Trust, empathy, listening and genuine connection are quickly becoming the skills that separate us. It's why I often say the presenter is more important than the presentation. People don't remember slides, they remember people. Relationships can quietly damage your life or completely transform it depending on how much you invest in them.   3️⃣ Most Of Life's Biggest Decisions Arrive Disguised As Uncertainty   Buying a one way ticket to Dubai, leaving my CEO role, starting this podcast (and everything in between), none of the biggest decisions in my life came with guarantees attached. They came with doubt, risk and unanswered questions. We spend so much of our lives waiting for certainty before we act, but certainty is often the reward for action, not the prerequisite. Sometimes you simply have to back yourself and go.   Closing Reflection The older I get, the more I realise that life isn't really about having all the answers. It's about knowing who you are, investing in the people that matter and having the courage to move forward before you're ready.   Honest, reflective and straight from the heart.   Off my chest and off the cuff. Welcome to Off Track.

Off Track: The Freedom Nobody Talks About

Welcome back to Off Track, the space where I speak unscripted, unfiltered and straight from the heart. No guests, no scripts, just honest reflections shaped by real conversations and real life.   This week's episode was inspired by my conversation with Chef Hala Ayash, but it became a conversation about something much bigger than food, television or social media. It became a conversation about freedom. The freedom to stop living by other people's expectations, the freedom that comes from truly knowing yourself, and the freedom to be authentic without feeling the need to perform.   Here are the three insights that stayed with me.   1️⃣ Real Freedom Begins When You Stop Trying To Impress Everyone For years, I was chasing approval without even realising it. I wanted to be liked, respected and successful, following a version of success that society had quietly handed to me. Today, I feel freer than ever because I'm no longer trying to impress anyone. I'm saying no more often, choosing what genuinely makes me happy and living life on my terms. Maybe freedom isn't about having more choices. Maybe it's finally realising you've always had one.   2️⃣ Your 40s Might Be Your Second Adulthood My 40s have felt like a complete restart. Therapy helped me understand who I am, but just as importantly, who I'm not. I'm making decisions based on what I want rather than what I think I should want, and that's been incredibly liberating. As Dr. Saliha once said on the podcast, we all need to give ourselves permission to be ourselves. I see that same transformation in my coaching clients every day, and it's often the moment everything begins to change.   3️⃣ Authenticity Isn't About Sharing Everything I've never believed authenticity means sharing every personal moment online. I'm learning to open up more, but only when it feels right and when it genuinely adds value, not simply for attention or engagement. People are far better at recognising what's real than we give them credit for. Maybe authenticity isn't about sharing more. Maybe it's about sharing what matters.   The older I get, the more I realise that freedom comes from questioning the rules we've inherited, trusting who you are and having the courage to stop performing for everyone else.   Honest, reflective and straight from the heart.   Off my chest and off the cuff. Welcome to Off Track.

Off Track: Are we Chasing The Wrong Things?

Welcome back to Off Track, the space where I speak unscripted, unfiltered and straight from the heart. No guests, no scripts, just honest reflections shaped by real conversations and real life.   This week's episode was inspired by my conversation with Mo Gawdat and three ideas that stayed with me long after the cameras stopped rolling. Ideas around peace, curiosity and the quiet habits that ultimately shape who we become. Three simple reminders that, in a world constantly telling us to chase more, encouraged me to slow down and appreciate what really matters.   1️⃣ Maybe We're All Just Looking For Peace For most of my life I've been chasing something. Success. Progress. The next opportunity. But peace has always felt far more elusive. I've experienced moments where I've literally told myself to take a mental picture because I never wanted that feeling to end. Today, I'm still searching for lasting peace, but I do have peace of mind. Peace that I'm finally building a life and career that feels true to who I am. Maybe peace isn't about having a perfect life. Maybe it's simply knowing you're walking in the right direction.   2️⃣ Every Person Is A Lesson This podcast has become my classroom. I never enjoyed studying at school, but I absolutely love learning from people. Every guest has taught me something about business, leadership, grief, faith, parenting or simply what it means to be human. Every conversation reminds me that we're far more alike than we are different. We all want to be understood. We all carry struggles nobody else sees. Listening isn't just one of the greatest gifts you can give another person. It's one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.   3️⃣ Life Is Built On Ordinary Days We spend so much time waiting for life's biggest moments, but when I look back, it's the ordinary days that matter most. Recording Off Track every Saturday. Releasing new episodes every week. Showing up for my clients when I'm tired. Going to the gym. Reading bedtime stories to my boys. One moment rarely changes your life, but thousands of ordinary moments quietly do. Maybe routine isn't boring after all. Maybe it's where purpose, consistency and even peace are built.   The older I get, the more I realise that a meaningful life isn't built by chasing extraordinary moments. It's built by finding peace in where you are, staying endlessly curious about the people around you and showing up, day after day, for the things that matter most.   Honest, reflective and straight from the heart.   Off my chest and off the cuff. Welcome to Off Track.
