A former teacher and principal, Dr. Silbert is a lifelong educator who has developed countless learning and study tools, contributed weekly educational columns to multiplepublications, and founded Strong Learning Centers. Her doctoral research focused on self‑esteem in children, and she continues to champion the idea that positive reinforcement, nurturing, and confidence-building are the true foundations of academic and personal success. In our conversation, she explainshow chronic stress and pressure can frustrate children and derail learning, and why healthy expectations are what help kids thrive. We also explore the role of report cards, effective teaching methods, and why it truly takes a village to motivate kids to read.

After growing up in the small town of Ninety Six, South Carolina, Chris served his country in the Marine Corps before heading to Nashville, where he carved out his place on Music Row with nothing but determination and a voice built for storytelling. His American Made EP climbed to #16 on the iTunes Country Chart, and his hit singles If You Drink and All in the Same Boat earned national recognition — even landing him a feature in Forbes magazine for his advocacy and music. Chris has collaborated with icons like Trace Adkins, Cody Johnson, Tracy Lawrence, and UFC legend Randy Couture, all while using his platform to raise awareness for veterans and the challenges they face after service. Whether he’s writing, singing, traveling, or partnering with veteran organizations, Chris shows up with purpose — proving that country music can heal, unite, and inspire. He is also the author of the bestselling book Code Man, which explores how coding and billing influence the practice of medicine. In this conversation, we discuss his Jewish upbringing, how he met his wife, and the challenges and blessings that shaped his medical training and career. Dr. Glazer shares his thoughts on the technological advancements in cardiology that continue to amaze him and reflects on the essential role of the Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants within the cardiology group where I currently practice. He also opens up about some of the most memorable moments of his career, including the first patient he saved and the first patient he could not.
