Descripción

In this sobering episode, we confront a challenging and often controversial passage from Deuteronomy 23:17 and consider its implications for today’s culture. The verse delivers a striking reminder of God’s call to holiness and the seriousness with which sin is addressed in Scripture. As we unpack its message, we also examine the broader consequences of a society that dismisses moral boundaries. From the erosion of standards to the normalization of behaviors once clearly rejected, we explore how unchecked sin can influence individuals, communities, and even the next generation. Alarming trends—especially among youth—highlight what can happen when truth is replaced with moral confusion and instability. At the heart of this discussion is a biblical perspective: humanity’s shared condition as sinners in need of a Savior, and the call to resist compromise. This episode challenges listeners to consider how faith, truth, and conviction can stand firm in a culture that is rapidly shifting—and what it means to respond with both clarity and conviction in a world that often resists both. What After July 4th

In this episode, we explore pivotal moments in American history and faith. Beginning in 1620 with the writing and signing of the Mayflower Compact, we examine its commitment to the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith. We then look to July 4, 1776, when the Declaration of Independence proclaimed our inalienable rights from our Creator. The discussion continues into the 1950s with the story of Manny Johnson, who was lured into the Communist Red movement. Despite his involvement, his Christian upbringing led him to revolt against its teachings. Seeing through Communist doctrine, he ultimately confessed his sins and returned to his faith. We also discuss President Eisenhower’s signing of the Communist Control Act and examine the view that Communism is anti-Christ, opposes God, and rejects God’s truth. Finally, we consider the call for Christians to remain sober and vigilant, pressing the battle against darkness and the Devil. We Do have examples

Do we really have an excuse for staying silent? In this thought-provoking episode, we examine the powerful examples found in Hebrews’ Hall of Faith and the conviction they should stir within every believer. Throughout history, faithful men and women have paid a tremendous price to stand for truth and uphold God’s standard. From John Bunyan’s imprisonment for refusing to compromise his calling to preach, to George Washington’s reminders about civility, respect, and honorable conduct, their lives challenge us to examine our own commitment and courage. What would Washington think if he walked through America today? As our nation faces moral, cultural, and spiritual battles, too many people refuse to take a stand and make a meaningful impact. Yet we are not without examples. We have a rich heritage of faith, conviction, and leadership pointing the way forward. Join us as we explore why ignorance is no excuse, why conviction must lead to action, and how ordinary people can influence their communities—from the local level to the national stage—by standing boldly for what is right.
