Descripción

October 2017. A dead-end road in Elkhart, Indiana. A tire swing hanging from a sycamore that shouldn't have held anything at all. I was driving back from a shift at the all-night diner when my headlights caught a girl on the swing — barefoot, in a thin white dress, her hair lifting even though there was no wind. I slowed down because it was two in the morning and the road ended in a cul-de-sac and there were no houses for a quarter mile. The swing creaked. She didn't look at me. I rolled down the window and asked if she needed a ride. She said, 'I'm waiting for my turn.' That should have been the end of it. But I went back the next night. And the night after. And each time the swing was still moving when I arrived, and each time she was a little closer to the road. This is a story about hunger — the kind that doesn't belong to the living. It's about a black rope fraying in the dark, and about the things we convince ourselves we're not seeing. And it's about what happens when a dead-end road finally ends. #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #TwelveWaysToDieInOctober #PonderosaLane #ElkhartIndiana #tireswing #OctoberHorror #ghoststory #AppalachianHorror #folklore #waitingfortheturn #deadendroad #sycamoretree #midwesternGothic #childghost #noescape #creepypasta #listenersupported Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo [https://buymeacoffee.com/fexingo]

The Jack-o'-Lantern at the End of Parsonage Road

October 1997. A jack-o'-lantern with a face that seemed to follow you. Luna was ten years old, walking home alone from a friend's house on Parsonage Road. The pumpkin sat on a porch that no one remembered being there before. She tells us about the one rule her grandmother gave her: never look a stranger's jack-o'-lantern in the eye. But she looked. She looked. And the pumpkin grinned wider. A story about childhood trespass, the wrong kind of light in a window, and the thing that sat on the stoop until dawn. #TwelveWaysToDieInOctober #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #JackOLantern #ParsonageRoad #October1997 #ChildhoodHorror #SmallTown #TheWrongPorch #Luna #NoCoHost #QuietDread #Folklore #ImaginaryFriend #SeasonalHorror #SoloNarration #Atmospheric #BurnedPumpkinSeed Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo [https://buymeacoffee.com/fexingo]

The Bridge at the End of Merriwether Road

October 1997, just outside the town of Bishops Hollow. A one-lane iron bridge, a name carved into the rust, and a woman who crossed it every night for two weeks. Luna tells the story of her aunt Miriam, who swore the bridge was shorter on the way back. She measured it. She photographed it. And on the fifteenth night, she took Luna with her. What waits at the midpoint of a bridge that does not want you to leave. #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #TwelveWaysToDieInOctober #BishopsHollow #MerriwetherRoad #IronBridge #AuntMiriam #MissingSteps #October1997 #TapeMeasure #Polaroid #Midpoint #Repetition #WrongGeometry #NightWalk #OctoberDusk #Rust #BridgeThatEats Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo [https://buymeacoffee.com/fexingo]

The Apple Orchard at the End of Bishop's Lane

October 1993, the last Saturday before Halloween. A woman named Cora Meecham drove out to Bishop's Lane to buy a bushel of heirloom apples from a farm stand that wasn't there the year before. The old man at the table didn't take money. He told her to pick an apple from the tree behind the barn—any apple—and bring it back to him before sundown. Cora chose a dark red one, almost black, and when she bit into it, the taste was smoke and something else. Something that felt like a memory of a door she had never opened. She spent the next three hours trying to find her way back to the farm stand. The road kept looping. The trees kept changing. The apple in her pocket grew colder and colder. This is what she told me when I found her sitting on the steps of the old post office, still holding the core. #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #LunaReads #OctoberHorror #TwelveWaysToDie #BishopsLane #AppleOrchard #CoraMeecham #HeirloomApples #BlackApple #DarkFruit #FarmStand #AutumnHorror #LostTime #LiminalSpace #SlowBurn #AtmosphericHorror #PodcastHorror Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo [https://buymeacoffee.com/fexingo]

The Fence Post at the End of Denton Road

A woman named Sarah moves into a house at the end of Denton Road, a dead-end street where the asphalt crumbles into an overgrown field. The house is old, with a strange iron fence post in the backyard, set apart from the rest of the fence. Sarah starts hearing a sound at night—a rhythmic scrape, like metal on bone, coming from the direction of that post. She looks out the window and sees a figure standing by it, a figure that shouldn't be there, a figure that seems to be waiting. Luna tells the story of what Sarah found when she finally walked out to that fence post one October night, and what it was that had been leaving scratches in the frost every morning. A story about the boundaries we think we have, and the ones we don't know we've crossed. #FencePost #DentonRoad #Sarah #OctoberNight #Scratching #FrostPatterns #Boundaries #IronFence #DeadEndStreet #OvergrownField #Luna #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #StandaloneEpisode #SlowBurnHorror #Atmospheric #SolitaryFigure #Fence Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo [https://buymeacoffee.com/fexingo]

The Scarecrow at the End of Warren Road

October 1989. Warren Road, a gravel stretch just outside Denton, Ohio, where the cornfields go right up to the asphalt and the only light comes from farmhouse windows half a mile apart. Luna tells the story of Boyd Haskell, a retired farmer who started burning scarecrows in his front yard every October night for reasons nobody could explain. Not his scarecrows — ones he found in other people's fields, stolen under cover of dark. Neighbors said it was grief, that he'd lost his wife the previous winter and the loneliness had cracked something in him. But Luna knew Boyd, and she knew the look in his eyes the night she drove past and saw him standing beside a fire, watching a straw figure blacken and curl. She pulled over. He didn't turn around. He just said, 'It's not the corn they're after, Luna. It's the shape we gave them.' What he meant by that, she didn't learn until the last scarecrow burned. And by then, the field behind his house had started to move. #TwelveWaysToDieInOctober #FexingoHorror #HorrorPodcast #OctoberHorror #Scarecrow #WarrenRoad #Cornfields #BoydHaskell #DentonOhio #Bonfire #Grief #HarvestSeason #SmallTownHorror #CreepyFields #StrawFigure #1989 #NoAdsListenerSupported #AnthologyHorror Keep every episode free: buymeacoffee.com/fexingo [https://buymeacoffee.com/fexingo]
