Our Beloved Discourse

After a long hiatus we're finally back with a new (and now slightly outdated) episode! In this one it's the original three guys sitting down to have a chat about civility, why it's useless in combating fascism and how "The Discourse" is just an excuse for boring cowards to look intelligent. We also talk about How I Met Your Mother is Friends for Millennials and why both shows are equally terrible.

episode We Don't Need No Education artwork
We Don't Need No Education

In this episode Ryan and Adam sit down in Adam's car (after apparently losing room reservation privileges at Grand Valley) to discuss the state of education in the United States. Before getting into that they talk about Republican candidate for governor, Bill Schuette, and why his particular brand of ghoulishness is unsurprising, but still hysterically terrifying. They then go on to talk about the West Virginia teachers' strike, why this is good for a broader labor movement in the United States and the overall condition of modern, American education. They discuss their experiences having gone through the public education system, how to fix its problems and why private education is a system that is ultimately harmful to education writ large. The Birds & The Bees

And we're back! It's been a minute, and this is an episode we recorded a while back that didn't get released due to some personal conflicts with one of our hosts, but it's FINALLY out. In this episode, the guys start out by talking about Abdul el Sayed and Shri Thanedar, two of the most progressive candidates for Michigan governor. They discuss the platforms of the two candidates and discuss which candidate stands the best chance of winning and who has the best set of goals moving forward. They then go on to discuss the oddities and pitfalls of modern romance and sexuality - ranging from the absurd levels of oppression that still exist, to the hollowness of yet another consumption-based holiday. www.unapologeticspodcast.wordpress.com

So, We Meet Again! (Ep. 27 - Season 2 Premiere)

Annnnd we're back! Hello everyone, UnApologetics is back for 2018, and it feels good to be back. In this episode we have our friend, Dean Chittenden running sound for us (so if it sounds terrible we actually have a scapegoat!) We discuss the absurd militarism and consumerism of the Super Bowl, how the all the Nunes Memo does is add one more bit of evidence that, yes, the FBI is indeed bad, and we talk about the carnival ride of January that we missed during our break. Onward & Upward! (Season 1 Finale)

It's been a good year...well, for us at least. In this one the guys look back on 2017 and reflect on their favorite moments from the podcast (featuring such classics as the "Goop egg," the band aid incident and other lovable and absurd moments). They also talk about their predictions for 2018 and their plans for the podcast going forward. Happy New Year's Eve! Come back next year, if ya feel like it. www.unapologeticspodcast.wordpress.com www.patreon.com/unapologetics
