As Uzziah grew stronger, he became proud. The very success God had blessed him with became a stumbling block when he began to step beyond the boundaries God had established. His story is a powerful reminder that spiritual success is not just about how we start, but how faithfully we finish. At the same time, we see political instability in Israel, with kings rising and falling in rapid succession. Through all the chaos, one truth remains constant: God is still sovereign, still faithful, and still working out His purposes. These chapters remind us that God's promises and His justice will always prevail, even when events appear chaotic and out of control. We'll see the consequences of generations of rebellion, but we'll also see God's faithfulness in preserving His covenant and protecting the line through which His greater plan of redemption would continue.
