They provide a sense of belonging through shared or gifted names, allowing individuals to be recognized and referred to uniquely and communally. While we all have names bestowed upon us at birth by our parents, or perhaps given later through marriage, did you know that scripture reveals other names or distinctions for believers? Names that are connected to identities granted to us by God. These names possess profound purposes that advance the Gospel, and while reminding us that we belong to a vast community of believers.
