Episode 41: How to stop wishing for your old life back and move forward with healing
In today’s episode, I want to offer some guidance about how to move forward in your healing, even if you still want some things to change. The reason this is so important is because when you're stuck in this energy of, I wish things were different, or I wish I could change this. It keeps your energy in your thoughts stuck in the past. EP 38: Healing Holistically & Living Your Best Life with Stage 4 Thriver Lea Hughes
I am super excited today because I am joined by Lea Hughes who is an incredible soul, who is thriving with stage four breast cancer. She is the embodiment of living holistically and not letting your diagnosis mean anything about you and really using it as a catalyst to live in total alignment and use this diagnosis as an opportunity to be your best self live your best life. Lea said: “It’s really interesting because people always say, you know, like how traumatic must that have been to be diagnosed with stage four cancer. And as it was, you know, there's nothing kind of, there's nothing nice about that. But at the same time for me, it was, it was a really welcome change to the lifestyle that I've been living.” “I think that was one of the penny drop moments for me, where I was like, wow, that's insane. Like, cause that is so me, I genuinely voiced like, I'm I wasn't angry. I wasn't, you know, there wasn't any, I wasn't sad. I was genuinely frustrated. Like I always used to feel like there was some, there was something inside of me that I wasn't allowing to come out. Like almost like this feeling of being like trapped inside myself, if that makes sense. And I think that human design just really allowed me to kind of let that out and to be like, okay, this is who I'm supposed to be.” Thanks so much for listening!
