Niklaus Frey worked as an HR Business Partner for the Trading Floor of an Investment Bank while secretly suffering from a porn addiction for 15 years. The addiction robbed him of the will to take care of his health and made him mentally and physically ill culminating in a herniated spinal disc that needed surgery as it paralysed his leg. He no longer had any motivation or purpose in life. Finding himself frustrated, angry, lonely, lost, he felt powerless and at the mercy of his addiction. Masturbating even though he didn't want to anymore. And then he discovered breathe work. A practice that in his first session he felt his heart and intuition open and expand again for the first time since his childhood and the circumstances in his life started to flow and fall into place again. Niks' vulnerability, courage, and authenticity are felt throughout this interview and it was truly such a delight and pleasure to speak with him. During our conversation, we spoke about addiction’s root causes being disconnection, how to spot addiction in our lives, how porn affects our sex lives and the benefits of not ejaculating. This podcast is truly fascinating and filled with both nervous and genuine laughter as we speak on the tabooed subject of sex and masturbation. You’ll be listening right through to the end - I am sure! In this week's podcast, I sat down with the very charming, energetic, and joyous Rebecca Pflaum [https://www.chakrama.com/], a well-known kundalini teacher who discovered the practice when she encountered crippling pain in her back, hips, and neck. Kundalini yoga was the transformational and sacred gift she received to recover and reclaim her body, mind, and spirit. Rebecca’s lightness of being is contagious and during our conversation, we speak about how kundalini yoga as a practice taught her self empowerment and responsibility. That not everything needs to make sense and making sense of things is often overrated, what the chakras actually are and how we are our own guru and we don’t need anything done to us because we have everything we need! *DISCLAIMER* A little disclaimer regarding this week's podcast. It was recorded in Ubud, Bali, and I caught on to a little ruffling noise. But this podcast was too good not to post for the sake of perfectionism, so the podcast isn’t perfect, but it’s well worth the listen. This week's podcast I sat down with the extremely raw, real, and incredibly open-hearted Alexia Usgaard, the founder of the FEARCE movement [https://alexiausgaard.com/], whose life changed dramatically when her alcoholic father passed away in 2014. After quitting her job, she took a flight out to Bali and began a long and meaningful journey with grief. Alexia’s story is inspirational and a testament that simply putting one foot in front of the other is more than enough in devastating moments in one's life. And that when we listen, truly listen to what our feelings are trying to convey to us, we will be met with wisdom and eventually feel joy again. During our conversation, Alexia speaks about the impact that growing up with an alcoholic father had on her life, how through meeting grief, she learned that fear is just an emotion to alert us to what we really care about, and how we get busy to prevent ourselves from hearing and feeling ourselves. Alexia’s presence in my life has been profoundly moving, she really does have a heart the size of Earth and is a real giver. You will feel that during the podcast and it's possible you may be moved to tears as I was whilst recording this. *DISCLAIMER* This week's podcast was recorded in Ubud, Bali, so for any of you who has visited Bali, you probably know that random sounds are inevitable. so there will be odd sounds now and then, please forgive me, Alexia Usgaard details FEARCE Movement:https://alexiausgaard.com/ [https://www.yogilab.com/] Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/alexia_usgaard/ [https://www.instagram.com/ink_pray_love/] Your host, Anna Maria Bosky Website: www.my6uru.com [https://www.myguru.com/] Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/anna-maria-bosky-05115223/ [https://www.linkedin.com/in/anna-maria-bosky-05115223/] Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/my6uru/ [https://www.instagram.com/my6uru/] Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/annadreammaria/ [https://www.instagram.com/annadreammaria/]

This week's podcast I sat down with a very humble, lighthearted, and joyful raw, vegan & macrobiotic chef and teacher Sayuri Tanaka. Her previous life in the conventional food industry left her unsatisfied and questioning how can we live a healthy, balanced life? This took her on a journey through India which led her to meet fruitarians and breatharians that inspired her life's work of physical and spiritual transformation through the food choices we make. During our conversation, Sayuri speaks about how meeting fruitarians and breatharians changed her life, how important it is to cultivate a nurturing relationship and understanding towards food as it restores and heals our relationship to ourselves, and the nutritional benefits of eating raw food. Sayuri’s restaurant in Ubud Bali is always full to the brim with people arriving in the mornings and not leaving until closing. Her gluten-free, dairy-free, everything free food and desserts are by far the best in the world, at least in my personal opinion! *DISCLAIMER* A little disclaimer regarding this week's podcast. This week's podcast I sat down with Shiv Charan Singh [https://www.karamkriya.org/content/shiv-charan-singh], a Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and trainer of teachers, Founder of Karam Kriya, and wise teacher, whose life living on the streets of Amsterdam had him question the point of life. This led him to spend 90 days not eating to consciously make his way towards death so that he could process the entire experience. After encountering a number of near-death incidents, he acquired intimate knowledge of the process of living and dying that we all seek to understand which then led him towards a path of Kundalini Yoga. During our conversation, Shiv Charan speaks about the little free will we actually have and the illusion of control that we feed, why depression is the longing of the soul and truly a gift of transformation, why we don’t need purpose, and how there’s a lot of power in saying no. Every word Shiv Charan shares during this podcast is truly profound and sacred. Each line uttered really has the power to shatter one’s own illusions of what “ life is about” which is what made this podcast impossible to cut down to a one-hour episode! So it’s a 2-hour special, and totally worth listening to right through to the end. *DISCLAIMER* There will be odd sounds now and then, please forgive me and my poor placement of the microphone on Shiv's body!
