Mike Elis takes a deep dive into the truth behind Santa Claus and the myths that surround him, shedding light on the complexities of belief and faith. The world today is so divided on the concept of what’s real, what’s imagined, and what’s passed down through generations—yet somehow, there’s always a middle ground. Our children, with their innocent curiosity and boundless imagination, light a torch for us, offering hope and wonder in a world that so often feels hopeless. In turn, we try to light a torch for them, guiding them through the darkness of uncertainty and doubt. But here's the tragedy: despite our best intentions, we often fail to carry that torch with the clarity and wisdom they need. Instead of guiding them, we sometimes mislead them with false ideals, shallow comforts, and hollow promises. In the end, it’s all for some holier-than-thou, self-righteous narrative we cling to—an illusion we uphold at the cost of genuine connection and understanding. The myth of Santa Claus becomes less about magic and more about the systems we’ve built around belief itself, systems that promise wonder but often leave us more divided, more cynical, and more unsure of what’s real. Yet, there’s still that glimmer of hope. Even in the face of our failings, children continue to light the way for us, reminding us of what it means to believe—truly believe—in something bigger than ourselves. They still see the magic, and maybe, just maybe, that's something we can all rediscover, if we're willing to open our eyes and hearts to it. Work in progress. With the “belief” we have fair law do we? Aside from the belief of criminals being charged differently based on color or creed lets look at based on political leanings… With Trump under the scope by the DOJ, and FBI has it been fair? 1st fact is this is a different DOJ then the one that investigated Hillary but they are the same. The fact that the POTUS nominates leadership in these organizations is a true failing of separation powers and duty. Can it be fair? Is it fair? Does it matter? What is the political future of un-balanced government look like? A Rebellion in Education 👁‍🗨 With the concern ever growing of school safety and our youth how can we solve it? Is banning guns the answer not really… Instead maybe overhauling how we teach our kids and how the structure of the facilities known as schools are. I think making the schools smaller and allowing a more dynamic control of the process from beginning to end should be applied. Some times applying a little pain in the sense of more work for us is worth the squeeze. America is dying bread we gave up on loving the dream and helping thy neighbor we gave up on looking after each other we gave up on hoping for the good in people. Is there good? Prove it! With families being broken from every direction how do we heal how do we solve the drugs, the murders, the driving fatalities so much to solve and all of our answers are looking at the answer of the situation the dead bodies the broken families and we throw money at the problem in hops of fixing the problem that now occurred but ignoring the origins story of the problem.
