Jesus told his disciples that in order to inherit the kingdom of God, they must become like children again. What did you love to do as a child? Do you have any creative outlets or areas of your life specifically dedicated to fun? On today’s episode, I speak on the importance of our imagination, pursuing creativity, and ways I have used play to battle burn out. Wonder is reserved for those with a willingness to regain a childlike naiveté. When is the last time you let your imagination take you to a mystical place? Outside of the confines of time and space? Where anything is possible, including your wildest dreams...

The secret place has many names. Some people call it their quiet time or devotional time. It is the time we set aside to meet individually with the Lord, and grow in relationship with Him. Where we get to have intimacy with the King of every king, and seek out connection and understanding. It is a place for intentionality, honesty, understanding, and stewardship. On todays’s episode, I share my approach to spending quality time with the Lord, so you can get the most out of your own secret place.

On today’s episode, I speak about the origins of my inner critic and breakdown how critique found its way into my everyday life. From internalizing abusive language I heard growing up as a child, to the constant critique coming from those closest to me, I believed, from a very young age, that harsh internal critique was not only okay, but would help keep me “safe” in some ways. Praise God, He carried me out of that place. I share a powerful encounter with Lord speaking kindness and grace over places critique had stolen my compassion for self, and peace. There is freedom from harsh internal critique. I am learning how to walk in that reality, and I just want to share some truths that helped me along the way.

For the majority of His ministry, Jesus supernaturally healed people. Does He still do this today? On this episode, I talk about my experience praying for a miraculous healing, and processing heartbreak when healing didn’t come. As well as working in the inpatient hospital setting, and seeing the wonder of our natural healing process. I share my journey into praying for supernatural healing, and watching the miraculous happen right before my very eyes. Holy Spirit is still healing people in a multitude of ways. I have seen Him move, and I want to invite you to do the same. This is an invitation to step out in faith. What if you prayed for a loved one, and the miraculous came?

On this episode, I share my three most power encounters with the Lord, so far. I process through the death of a parent as a teenager, and the first time I experienced the Lord in a way that marked me for the rest of my life. I walk through the unmet expectations of a “successful” career, and how the Lord met me there. Learning to let go of unhealthy coping mechanisms, processing failure, and making a decision for healthy lifestyle change. A change that led me to the place I now call home. This is a glimpse into how the Lord speaks to, and guides me.
