Awais Ahmad Khan, a YaLa Citizen Journalism course alumni, interviewed the well-known human rights activist Wagma Feroz about the challenges girls face in getting an education and a career, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Awais Ahmad Khan is a journalist who has worked as a communication consultant for BBC World Service in Pakistan. Besides this, he is a social activist and worked with international NGOs in Pakistan and Germany to raise awareness for human rights. He is also a former DAAD scholar and is currently doing a Ph.D. in journalism funded by Fes at Passau University in Germany.
