Hello and welcome to A Moment For Kindness, a podcast brought to you by the Boys and Girls Club of the West San Gabriel Valley and Eastside. On this podcast we will take a moment out of our day to talk, learn and discuss kindness. The episodes will vary from short thoughts around kindness, to stories of kindness to deeper conversations with leaders in our community around kindness. We will also give this space to our young club members to share their youth voices and perspectives around the theme of kindness.

Kindness In Action - Project Angel Food

On this episode we look back at our recent kindness program’s volunteer opportunity with Project Angel Food and talk with their CEO Richard Ayoub. Project Angel Food prepares and delivers over one million medically tailored meals each year, free of charge to homes of men, women, and children affected by life-threatening illnesses. Our club’s kindness ambassadors recently had the opportunity to volunteer in their kitchen to help prepare some of these meals.
