God’s faithfulness is His unwavering reliability, His absolute commitment, and His uncompromising steadfastness to act on the basis of His unchanging nature, the objective reality of who He is, the absolute truth of His word, and the unbreakable strength of His covenant promises. Jesus Himself is the evidence of God’s faithfulness. He is the exact representation of the Father’s nature. He is called Faithful and True. He is our Faithful Promise Keeper! Attributes of God, Session 4, "The Healing of God"

An attribute is a characteristic of a person’s nature. Healing is an attribute of God because it comes from His nature. His nature determines His will. If we know His nature, we’ll know His will. His will will never contradict His nature. How do we know His nature? Jesus! Jesus is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature. “You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” (Acts 10:38, NASB) If you want to know what God is like, look at Jesus! Jesus Christ is Jehovah Rafah, the Lord our Healer, and He is the same yesterday, today and forever!
