What we gained in Christ’s obedience at the cross far exceeds what we lost in Adam’s disobedience in the garden. It’s not merely that we are forgiven, but over and above being forgiven, the righteousness of Jesus Christ is put to our account. We have moved from a prison of sin, to a prison of righteousness. Attributes of God, Session 4, "The Healing of God"

An attribute is a characteristic of a person’s nature. Healing is an attribute of God because it comes from His nature. His nature determines His will. If we know His nature, we’ll know His will. His will will never contradict His nature. How do we know His nature? Jesus! Jesus is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature. “You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” (Acts 10:38, NASB) If you want to know what God is like, look at Jesus!
