Dr. Melissa Alemán is a Graduate Director for the Communication and Advocacy Master’s Program at James Madison University. She has done extensive research in multicultural caregiving and family communication. Recently, she was the keynote speaker at JABA's inaugural Embrace Every Season, a speaker and lunch event in support of JABA programs and services. There, she discussed the importance of caregiver stories and family communication.
