Descripción

Agape, the God-kind of love, is expressed through selfless and sacrificial giving. True love gives for the benefit of others without ulterior motives, and this is the foundation of Christian generosity. As believers, we have received righteousness and the fullness of God’s grace by faith not by works and this righteousness is meant to be fruitful, producing a life of love and giving. Giving does not diminish you, rather it multiplies grace and positions you for God’s provision and favor. What we have is not a product of our labour alone, but the grace of God at work in us. As we give, we reflect God’s nature, perpetuate His righteousness, and demonstrate that our true wealth is not in material things but in the grace we carry. Ultimately, every true lover of God is a giver. The more conscious you are of God’s grace for giving, the more gracious you become in expressing His love through consistent, joyful, and generous living.

How to Enjoy What Jesus Did for Us - Apostle Segun Obadje

Christianity is not merely a religion but a living relationship with God, established through our faith in Jesus Christ and His finished works. Our transformation began the moment we placed our faith in Jesus, not only in who He is, but in what He fully accomplished for us through His death and resurrection. Through faith, we have come into union with Christ, becoming one with Him in spirit, where every spiritual blessing has already been made available to us. We enjoy what Jesus has done for us through two key truths: Exchange (Substitution) and Identification (Reckoning). Through exchange, Jesus took upon Himself our sin, sickness, poverty, shame, rejection, and death so that we might receive forgiveness, healing, righteousness, abundance, honor, acceptance, and life. His sacrifice for us was perfect and complete nothing can be added to it or taken from it. Grow in the knowledge of what Christ has done for you, refuse to live beneath the privileges of your salvation, and daily reflect on the grace made available to you through Jesus. As you continually meditate on His finished works, you will walk in freedom, exercise dominion, and live in the fullness of every blessing that has been secured for you in Christ.
