(411 is the address of the theater!) This series features regional and nationally-recognized artists in the intimate venue of the Northfield Arts Guild Theater and offers a truly unique listening and viewing experience. Minnesota born-and-raised, Connie Evingson has a catalog of acclaimed albums that cover a wide range within the jazz genre. From jazz to Broadway standards, to covering Peggy Lee or The Beatles, the Twin Cities-based singer has an adventurous spirit that, like her music, knows no boundaries. Her ten albums released through Minnehaha Music have all charted in the Top 50 in the United States and Canada, and can be heard on radio stations around the globe. For nearly four decades Dan Chouinard has been pianist and accordionist of choice for a who’s who of Twin Cities performers, an enabler of community sing-alongs, and writer and host of hit shows for radio, concert hall and theatrical stage. Toward the Guild’s goal of lifting up the young and aspiring, every show includes a talented local young musician(s). 4.19.26 OPENER: Samantha ZenkSam is a junior and vocalist at Northfield High School. Out of all the music she has been able to perform, the styles she always comes back to are a mix of jazz, pop, and classic rock. You may recognize her from Rock and Roll Revival, as well as The NHS Choirs!  Little Wars Presented by Out of the Mist Celtic Theater and Northfield Arts Guild Theatre Friday, 24 April and Saturday, 25 April at 7:30PM Sunday, 26 April at 2PM Calvary Baptist Church (Glanton Theatre) 2608 Blaisdell Avenue, Minneapolis http://outofthemistceltictheater.com/ [http://outofthemistceltictheater.com/] Tickets are $20 and all proceeds will be donated to the Immigrant Law Center.   Little Wars is a co-production of Northfield Arts Guild Theater and Out Of The Mist Celtic Theatre. Little Wars is set on the eve of Hitler’s WWII Invasion of France in 1940.  The most influential women of their time (Gertrude Stein, Lillian Hellman, Agatha Christie, Alice B. Toklas, Dorothy Parker and more) gather for an imaginary dinner party to discuss the onslaught of fascism: they argue, laugh and console; there are confessions made, secrets shared and a mystery to solve.  Written by Steven McCasland and hailed by New York Critics as brilliant and mesmerizing, this timely drama explores the impacts of antisemitism as it spreads across Europe. Steven McCasland will join us for the Friday April 24th performance.   Gallop with the Guild on April 30th   The 2026 Guild Fundraiser at Reunion (501 Division St., Northfield) promises another fantastic evening filled with excellent food, drinks, entertainment, and fun — all to support the Guild’s mission of making art accessible for everyone in the community.
