Every Story & Poem in 150

In this episode of the Space and Time Magazine podcast, Ryan Aussie Smith and Angela Yuriko Smith return to the original purpose of the show: spotlighting the fiction and poetry published in Space and Time. They explain that future episodes will focus more deeply on one story and one poem per issue, but this episode offers a rapid tour through the stories and poems in Issue 150, themed around “Rest is Resistance.” Together they frame the issue as a celebration of contributors whose work explores rest, silence, stillness, refusal, dreams, and endurance as forms of rebellion. Unboxing the Bilingual Flipbook Proofs

Come behind the scenes with me as I open the first test copies of my bilingual flipbook format. These samples combine English and Brazilian Portuguese in one reversible book, letting readers flip between languages instead of comparing side-by-side text. I walk through what worked, what needs adjusting, and why this experiment has me so excited for the future of Space and Time magazine. The verdict? Bilingual flipbooks are going to be a thing.
