IF YOU ARE ALWAYS THE ONE HELPING, FIXING, AND SHOWING UP FOR EVERYONE… BUT STILL FEEL DRAINED, OVERWHELMED, OR UNSUPPORTED, THIS EPISODE WILL HELP YOU SEE WHY. Most people don’t realize they are stuck in a pattern where they move between being the savior and the victim. It feels like care, responsibility, and compassion, but underneath it is often driven by subconscious patterns that were formed early in life. When this pattern is running, your energy is not flowing in a healthy way. You give more than you have, you carry what is not yours, and over time you lose clarity, balance, and connection to yourself. In this episode, we break this down in a clear and practical way. You will understand: * why you feel responsible for other people’s problems * how the victim-savior pattern is formed in the subconscious mind * how this affects your energy, your relationships, and your results * why helping others can sometimes keep both of you stuck * how to take full responsibility for your life without losing your compassion You will also learn a simple, grounded way to shift this pattern so your energy can return to you, your mind becomes clearer, and your relationships become more balanced. This is not about becoming distant or uncaring. It is about supporting others in a way that allows both of you to grow. If you are ready to stop carrying what is not yours and start showing up with clarity, strength, and real alignment, this episode will give you the awareness and tools to begin. episode #115 What Are You Really Hungry For? artwork

#115 What Are You Really Hungry For?

Have you ever reached for food, your phone, work, shopping, or even another person, only to realize that what you were looking for wasn’t really there? What if the cake was never about the cake? In this episode, we explore a powerful idea that completely changed the way I think about healing. Our brains naturally create emotional connections between experiences and feelings. Without realizing it, we begin to associate certain people, places, foods, achievements, and habits with love, safety, comfort, acceptance, or belonging. Years later, we often keep searching for those same feelings, believing we’re craving the object when we’re actually longing for the emotion attached to it. Together we’ll explore: ➡️ Why emotional eating isn’t always about food. ➡️ How childhood experiences quietly shape our adult habits. ➡️ Why willpower isn’t usually the real problem. ➡️ How emotional associations influence our relationships, work, money, and self-worth. ➡️  Why understanding yourself is far more powerful than judging yourself. ➡️ How creating new emotional connections can open the door to lasting healing. This episode is an invitation to stop asking, “What’s wrong with me?” and begin asking, “What has my heart been searching for all along?” If this conversation speaks to you, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Please subscribe, leave a review, and share this episode with someone who may need this reminder today. Healing begins with awareness. Sometimes the greatest breakthrough isn’t changing what you’re reaching for—it’s understanding why you were reaching for it in the first place. #114 The 10 Minutes that Can Change Your Life - חשבון נפש

What if ten minutes a day could change the direction of your life? Not ten minutes spent scrolling through your phone or watching tv. Not ten minutes worrying about what’s wrong. Not ten minutes replaying in your head in a loop with old conversations.  Just ten quiet minutes with yourself and God.  I know that sounds simple, but I've learned that some of the most powerful changes in life come from the simplest practices.  We often think change requires a dramatic breakthrough, a perfect therapist, the right book, or a life-changing event. Sometimes those things help. But often, real transformation happens because we become willing to pause and pay attention to our inner thoughts. This week, I want to talk about a practice that has been around for thousands of years.  ⭐️It is simple & practical ⭐️available to every one of us regardless of our background or beliefs. ⭐️ It can help us understand ourselves better, ⭐️improve our relationships,  ⭐️reduce stress ⭐️make better decisions ⭐️and reconnect with our most powerful, authentic self.  It's called a spiritual inventory- חשבון נפש In Jewish tradition, there is a practice called Cheshbon Hanefesh, which means an accounting of the soul.  The Torah encourages us to reflect on our actions and take responsibility for the way we live our lives. Over time, Jewish sages expanded this idea into a daily practice of self-examination, not to create guilt or fear, but to encourage growth and wisdom. The idea is beautifully simple yet profound.  If you're curious for more, check out the links below! www.tammymachmali.com www.instagram.com/tammymachmali www.facebook.com/createwithmindfulnessstudio www.pinterest.com/tammymachmali www.youtube.com/@tammymachmali7530 www.linkedin.com/in/tammymachmali Book a free consultation! www.calendly.com/tammymachmali/meeting-with-tammy-machmali

episode #112 What's More Powerful Than the Evil Eye? The Hidden Beliefs Keeping You Stuck artwork

#112 What's More Powerful Than the Evil Eye? The Hidden Beliefs Keeping You Stuck

What's More Powerful Than the Evil Eye?🧿 112: What's More Powerful Than the Evil Eye? The Hidden Beliefs Keeping You Stuck For years, I painted evil eyes because I wanted to give people a symbol of protection from negative energy. I still understand why so many people find comfort in them. Deep down, I think we all want the same thing. We want to feel safe. But over time, I started asking myself a different question. What if one of the greatest forms of protection isn't something outside of us? What if it comes from healing the stories we carry inside of us? Have you ever found yourself thinking: Something bad is going to happen. I don't want people to be jealous of me. Things never work out for me. I can't trust anyone. I'm not enough. What if these old fears and beliefs quietly shape the way we experience our relationships, health, confidence, happiness, and even our future? In this week's episode of Baggage Be Gone: Healing Hearts and Minds, we're exploring a different way of looking at protection, fear, and the subconscious mind. Inspired by Joseph Murphy's teachings and my own healing journey, we'll talk about why old emotional baggage can keep us stuck, why awareness alone isn't always enough, and how healing the stories we've been carrying may be one of the greatest forms of protection we can give ourselves. I want to leave you with one question: What story am I still carrying that no longer belongs to me? I hope you'll join me for the conversation. episode #111 Why Does This Affect Me So Much? Fear of Abandonment & Emotional Attachment artwork

#111 Why Does This Affect Me So Much? Fear of Abandonment & Emotional Attachment

Why do some goodbyes feel so much heavier than they should? A spouse leaves on a business trip. A child goes back to college. Family visits and then flies home. A close friendship changes. Life moves forward as it should, yet something inside feels unsettled. Many people assume they are simply feeling lonely. But often, something deeper is happening. In this episode of Baggage Be-Gone: Healing Hearts and Minds, Tammy Machmali explores the hidden roots of fear of abandonment, emotional attachment, and the emotional patterns that can leave us feeling anxious, empty, restless, or emotionally overwhelmed when the people we love are no longer right beside us. This episode is for anyone who has ever wondered: * Why does this affect me so much? * Why do I feel emotionally off when someone leaves? * Why do I keep looking to other people to make me feel okay? And how do I finally heal this pattern? Because healing isn't about getting people to stay. It's about learning how to stay connected to yourself when life changes, relationships shift, and the people you love aren't right beside you. If you've ever struggled with fear of abandonment, emotional dependency, loneliness, or the feeling that something is missing when you're alone, this conversation may help you understand yourself in a completely new way. And if you're ready to go deeper into releasing emotional baggage, healing old wounds, and creating lasting change from the inside out, I'd be honored to support you on your journey.
