Being Friends 104 - The Strangest Bar in New York City

Happy Monday Friends!  We are back and still not really talking about anything new, since the Knicks are all that is on our minds.  But otherwise: -It has been a while but we have a self-inflicted injury story. But for once, it's not Toni-ann! -The younger generation needs to apparently learn workplace etiquette, and how the honor system works. -Taylor's new song for Toy Story 5, and her upcoming nuptials. The fake news is crazy.  Okl, then we are back onto the Knicks and Toni-ann's Game 2 Watch experience, at what seems to be the strangest bar she has ever been to. The Spurs created their own exclusive fan cheering section called the Jackals, and Jess is still confused on what a 'spur' even is.  That's all we got this week, but Lets Go Knicks and thanks for Being Our Friend!

Being Friends Ep 103 - If It Ain't Off Campus or The Knicks, We Respectfully DO NOT CARE!

Welcome back on a Monday!  We are kicking off the week instead of ending it for you all.  The title of this episode really says it all. We are talking MORE Off Campus, because we cannot get enough. What the hell makes this show so addictive? How is this show so good? And will Toni-ann be reading before the future seasons?  Annnnnnd, OUR Knicks are going to the FINALS! As you know, we are the biggest Knicks Fans out there and we are so excited and nervous for the Knicks to be in the NBA Finals...which don't have another name they are just the NBA Finals. We discuss Tay and Travis' random date night in Cleveland, and because we are sports-traumatized, we were constantly doubting when we shouldn't. Giving you an overall recap of the playoffs before the Finals kick off.  We are no longer discussing the Mets until the Knicks have concluded their season- because why waste our time? Being Friends Ep 102 - Off Campus and GO KNICKS!

We are back after a two week break and we have a lot to talk about!  This week, we are talking about Jess's family trip to Chicago and some of the fun things they did, their bad luck with Uber and their weird encounters with multiple hit and runs throughout the weekend.  Toni-ann is trying to decide on a paint color for her place, and is really pointing out how annoying it is to pick out a paint color for your home. Hantavirus has Toni-ann mad she could not go viral when she had Covid in Italy. Also two weeks later, and its already not a thing anymore. OFF CAMPUS - if you haven't yet watched, you must! We love Off Campus on Amazon Prime, Jess read the book series, Toni-ann found love with the show. Overall 10/10 adaptation and we need more now!  The Mets stink we will not entertain talking about them this week.  Instead of the Mets, our girl finally got to a Knicks game and what a game it was. Toni-ann is recapping Eastern Conference Finals Game 1 and her first live Knicks game at MSG.  That's all we got this week! Thanks for Being Our Friend!

Being Friends Ep 101 - 2000s Computer Games, Louis v Zayn, Toni-ann's Birthday Celebration

Welcome Back to another week of Being Friends. This week we are not as lively as episode 100, but we are still bringing all our opinions. Toni-ann introduced her sister-in-law to The Sims and there is just something about that game that is so genius, it will always suck you into a month straight of obsession.  Louis and Zayn, formerly of One Direction, were apparently making a documentary, which has since been cancelled because they have beef.  Toni-ann's birthday fun! We recorded Episode 100 IRL, and dinner and an escape room after a few cocktails was a great idea. The Mets are so God awful it is past misery. Why is our coach the only one not being fired?  Our Knicks! We love the Knicks and the basketball playoffs. That's all we got this week! Thanks for Being Our Friend!

BEING FRIENDS POD EPISODE 100!

We have a very special episode this week, we made it to 100 episodes!!! For this momentous milestone, we decided to get together IRL and use our new tiny mics (we are obsessed) on Jess's couch. This one is a Jess and Toni-ann special, everyone! If you think we are chaotic on our webcams, just imagine how ridiculous we are together in person! To make it even more special, we recorded on Toni-ann's Birthday! With our tiny mics and mango margaritas in hand, we discuss several crazy topics for you all:  -We realize Jess actually never understood the plot of Cinderella -We ponder what is in the air when it is nice out that requires us to spend money?  -Some book/movie talk - Patrick Schwarzenegger is NOT our Gus Everett, and Hollywood book adaptations on the whole -And of course, we briefly touch on the Mets, who are SO miserable that we don't want to spend too much time on them at all.  We had a great time recording this!
