On this special senior spotlight episode of Between the Bells, we talk with graduating seniors Connor and London about the excitement, pressure, and emotions that come with the final weeks of high school. From senioritis and favorite memories to career plans, college decisions, and moving away from home, the conversation is honest, funny, and inspiring. Connor shares his dream of becoming a flight attendant and why he chose a path outside the traditional college route, while London talks about her passion for film, taking a gap year, college, and possibly joining the Air Force Reserves. From appearance and friend groups to social pressure and self-confidence, in this episode we explore how judgement shapes who we think we need to be.  We discuss the fear of being judged, code-switching around different groups, and the challenge of staying true to yourself in a world that constantly has opinions. We reflect on when judgment can be harmful, when it can be helpful, and how pausing to reflect, and choose kindness can make a real difference.  This episode is a reminder that everyone is carrying something you can’t see. Growth doesn’t come from fitting into someone else’s expectations, but from learning who you are and being okay with that.

In this episode, we talk with our guest, SV Sophomore, Quinn, honestly about the stress of future planning, grades, and the pressure to have everything figured out. Through real stories and reflection, this episode explores uncertainty, changing paths, and the idea that there’s no single “right” plan after high school. It’s a reminder that growth takes time, mistakes are part of the process, and the next step doesn’t have to be perfect to be the right one.

In this episode of Between the Bells, we sit down with two 10th-grade students, Jason and Kyle, to talk honestly about what negativity, peer pressure, and bullying look like for boys in high school. We talk about how guys sometimes experience bullying differently from girls, why things can get more physical, and how social expectations can make it harder for boys to open up or report issues. Jason and Kyle share their own personal experiences and talk about the pressure to appear “tough” even when things actually hurt. In the end, we all agree that having a support network and staying true to yourself are keys to navigating social stress and issues in high school.
