Beyond the lack of World Cup games in Denver, we discuss the internal conflict of supporting a World Cup amid geopolitical turbulence, coupled with FIFA's ever-present corruption. This conversation about the tournament is nuanced both in it's appreciation for the tournament and the World Cup Spirit, measured with the desire for more equitable outcomes in the sport as a whole.
