May 10, 2026 Recognize Your Reality Sermon Text: Matthew 11:28-30  28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Introduction: "In a world where everything feels like too much, let’s discover how to lighten our load and find peace in the chaos."   Psalms 38:4 My guilt has overwhelmed me like a burden too heavy to bear. (NIV) Explanation: Acknowledging our struggles is essential. Many feel overwhelmed by societal pressures and constant connectivity. Recognizing our reality is the first step to healing. Practical Steps: * Practice Journaling: Encourage the congregation to start a journaling habit to express feelings. * Practice Biblical Meditation: Introduce meditation on scripture as a way to focus the mind. Psalms 1:1-2 1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. (NIV) * Practice Vulnerability: Encourage sharing struggles with trusted friends. Galatians 6:2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. (NIV) Conclusion: "The first step in overcoming overload is to recognize your reality and then invite Jesus into that reality." ★ Support this podcast ★ [https://bridgechurch.tv/give/]

He told us to wait for power, because the mission ahead would require more than human ability. Movements start with movement: * Pentecost turns weakness into boldness. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬ * Peter preaches with clarity and conviction. “And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭21‬ ‭NIV‬‬ * God uses Peter to build the church. “Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭41‬ ‭NIV‬‬ CONCLUSION: God does not only heal us for private comfort; He builds us for public usefulness and kingdom impact. ★ Support this podcast ★ [https://bridgechurch.tv/give/]

June 14, 2026 Series: Chiseled Series Scripture: Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Sermon: Chiseled by Failure Scripture: Luke 22:54-62; John 21:15 “Then seizing him, they led him away and took him into the house of the high priest. Peter followed at a distance. And when some there had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and had sat down together, Peter sat down with them. A servant girl saw him seated there in the firelight. She looked closely at him and said, “This man was with him.” But he denied it. “Woman, I don’t know him,” he said. A little later someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them.” “Man, I am not!” Peter replied. About an hour later another asserted, “Certainly this fellow was with him, for he is a Galilean.” Peter replied, “Man, I don’t know what you’re talking about!” Just as he was speaking, the rooster crowed. The Lord turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows today, you will disown me three times.” And he went outside and wept bitterly.” ‭‭Luke 22:54-62 “When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭21‬:‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬ INTRODUCTION: Failure is not final.  Movements start with movement: * Peter overestimates his strength. Peter replied, "Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death."  Luke 22:33 * Fear exposes what confidence cannot cover. The seizing him (Jesus), they led him away and took him into the house of the high priest. Peter followed at a distance. Luke 22:54 * Peter weeps, but does not disappear. And he went outside and wept bitterly. Luke 22:62 * Jesus restores Peter with love and commission. “When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭21‬:‭15‬ ‭NIV‬‬ CONCLUSION: Shame says, “You are finished.” Jesus says, “Come back, and let Me rebuild you.” ★ Support this podcast ★ [https://bridgechurch.tv/give/]

Chiseled Part 2 - Archie Callahan

June 7, 2026 Series: Chiseled: Built by Jesus... Series Scripture: Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Sermon: Chiseled by Correction INTRODUCTION: God's correction is a blessing that leads to abundant life.  "Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid." ‭‭        -Proverbs‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬ "Whoever heeds life-giving correction will be at home among the wise. Those who disregard discipline despise themselves, but the one who heeds correction gains understanding."          -‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭15‬:‭31‬-‭32‬ ‭NIV‬‬ "Better is open rebuke than hidden love. Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses." - Proverbs‬ ‭27‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Scripture Text: Matthew 16:22-23. "Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. "Never, Lord!" he said. "This shall never happen to you!" Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns."" Movements start with movement... 1. Peter gets revelation, but still lacks maturity. (Peter Gets It) Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God." -Matthew 16:16 1. Jesus corrects Peter's thinking. (Peter Missed It)  Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns."" Matthew 16:23 1. Peter wants Jesus without the cross. "Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me." ‭‭ CONCLUSION: If we want to move higher with Jesus, we must learn to recieve correction. --Matthew 17:1 ★ Support this podcast ★ [https://bridgechurch.tv/give/]

Series Scripture: Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” ‭‭Sermon: Chiseled by the Call Scripture: Matthew 4:18-22 INTRODUCTION: Don't despise the day of small beginnings. (Zacheriah 4:10) “As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” At once they left their nets and followed him. Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them, and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.” ‭‭ Quote: “When Christ calls a man, he bids him come and die.” -Dietrich Bonhoeffer, The Cost of Discipleship Movements start with movement... * Jesus meets Peter in ordinary work. * Jesus speaks authority into Peter’s life. * Peter leaves something behind to receive something higher. * The first step in being built is surrender. Overload Part 3 - Archie Callahan

May 24, 2026 Series: Overload Resilient Routines “Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.” - ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬ It’s impossible to be spiritual without Godly rituals that we routinely practice. Practical Steps: 1. Practice Fellowship “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” - ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭23‬-‭25‬ ‭NIV 2. Practice the Presence of God “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” - ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭16‬:‭11‬ ‭NIV‬‬‬‬ 3. Practice Generosity “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” - ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬ As we face the overload of life, let’s remember: by recognizing our reality, reframing our thoughts, and establishing resilient routines, we can find peace and strength through God’s grace. ★ Support this podcast ★ [https://bridgechurch.tv/give/]
