The Prom is a musical with music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Chad Beguelin, and a book by Bob Martin and Beguelin, The show opened in November of 2018 to rave reviews. The show tells the story of Emma Nolan, who wants to go to the prom with her girlfriend in small town Indiana and the Broadway Stars looking to fix their image. I want to start by saying, although I can never understand the black experience. I will ALWAYS do everything in my power to listen and help. We have to raise our voices. With that.
