Chi-Town Weekly #227 Play-Ins, Drafts, and Good Weekends

The Bulls are in the Play-In Tournament. Again. Will the 3rd time finally be the charm for these guys? Or will the Bulls yet again be bounced without making it to the actual postseason?  The WNBA Draft was going on live during the show, so we got caught up on the two first round picks of the Chicago Sky, Ajsa Sivka and Hailey Van Lith. The White Sox and Cubs both won their series this past weekend in impressive ways. The Cubs, especially are looking really strong. How will the Justin Steele injury affect things, though? Chi-Town Weekly #226 Draft Prep Begins!

With the calendar officially flipping to April, we can now begin looking at the Bears strategy for the NFL Draft! To get us kick started, Luke Easterling from Athlon Sports stoped by to offer his opinions on the Bears needs and what players could fit the bill. He even played a few rounds of Make Your Case! Chi-Town Weekly #225 Is a Run on the Way?

The Bulls have been on an absolute tear lately! March has seem them secure a spot in the (dreaded) Play-In Tournament. Might a 7 or 8 seed still be on the table, though? MLB had it's first full weekend and the Cubs and White Sox both had their ups and downs. For the Cubs, the bats were consistenly present, even if the bullpen wasn't. For the White Sox, they got above .500 for the first time in 2 years! And the starting staff has been tremendous first time through! Finally, the NFL Draft is less than a month away. Chi-Town Weekly #224 Play Ball!

The MLB season gets underway this Thursday! The Cubs got a teaser in Japan last week, dropping 2 games to the Dodgers but now everything begins in earnest. The Cubs will stay in Arizona while the White Sox come home to take on the Padres. We'll preview both sides of town including the starting rotations, regular lineup, and expectations.  The college basketball season is over for both Illinois' mens and women's teams. Both advanced to the 2nd round of the tournament before getting knocked out. We'll look back at both of them. Connor Bedard and Colby White both made history this week as well!
