The Soccer Odyssey Part 5 - The summer of soccer

The biggest push for the soccer bus yet.   As The Boys of Summer blasts in Justin's headphones, he drives the still leaking bus from Orlando up to the Northeast for the busiest summer of our lives.   With the Open Cup rounds now happening further apart, we had a chance to dig into an even wider spectrum of American soccer. Some how, some way, the bus made it to the middle of Manhattan - pulling up alongside Bayern Munich's office at Rockefeller plaza. The Chopped Cheese Classic soon followed, as we helped shut down an entire street in Brooklyn during the Club World Cup final for a full day of music, drinks, and community, with NYC Footy.   The crowning moment of the summer happened waaay further North though. The USL2 Championship had all the makings of a monumentous marker for American soccer, and so, we floored it up to Burlington, Vermont to witness two titans of lower level soccer, Vermont Green FC and Ballard FC, battle it out in a match we'll never forget. Oh yea, and we made it over to Portland, Maine for the state's first ever international sporting competition. Up the Hearts of Pine, forever and always.   Our spirits couldn't be higher. The Soccer Odyssey Part 4 - We were ROBBED

A stolen laptop, a book of arrests, and a DIY investigation. Oh my!   Round 4 of the U.S. Open Cup was anything but straightforward. We returned back to Orlando with nothing but uncertainty ahead. Just as momentum was building, it felt as if the lifespan of the bus was shortening with each passing day.   Some how, some way though, the bus wouldn't be our biggest worry this round. The Soccer Odyssey Part 3 - The soccer bus is OVER

Just as quickly as it began, this bus adventure may be crashing to an end.   For Round 3 of the U.S. Open Cup, we set our sights on another two-city stop: back-to-back matches in Louisville and Indianapolis. The only problem? The bus wasn't holding any oil.
